She also serves as a leader at CUIMC's Carmen and John Thain Center for Prenatal Pediatrics, where patients with pregnancies complicated by fetal malformations, genetic syndromes, or multiple gestations receive comprehensive, multidisciplinary care in a state-of-the-art facility. As former Director of CUIMC's Ob/Gyn Ultrasound program, she has assembled an outstanding group of sonographers and physicians to provide the best available sonographic imaging to women with high-risk pregnancies. Dr. Simpson's specialized training in fetal echocardiography complements her expertise in prenatal diagnosis.
