I have never had a professional healthcare office take such great care in helping me. Zhané did everything possible to assist me with the insurance and booking. Every procedure was explained to me in a way I could understand. Dr. Patel and her staff were so thorough and took their time and attention to make my dental needs. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had such a great experience with my hygienist Behnoosh! She was very kind, gentle, and made me feel comfortable throughout my appointment. She took the time to explain everything she was doing and made sure I was comfortable. I really appreciate how welcoming, professional, and efficient she was. I would definitely recommend her!

This office has been so good to me, from the front staff to the manager and the entire team. Everyone is welcoming, kind, and genuinely cares about their patients.

As someone who has always had a fear of going to the dentist, I can't say enough about Dr. Patel. She has made me feel comfortable, safe, and at ease during every visit. While sitting in the chair, I never felt judged or rushed. Instead, she took the time to explain everything, answer my questions, and make sure I was comfortable throughout the process.

The level of care, professionalism, and compassion shown by this office is truly exceptional. I am so grateful to have found a dental team that has helped me overcome my dental anxiety and made every visit a positive experience. Predatory Billing Practices — But Exceptional Clinical Care

In summary: exceptional doctors and staff, but a billing model that places unnecessary financial and administrative stress on patients. If they corrected this policy, the experience would be close to perfect.

I have very mixed feelings about Westgrove Dental Care.

From a clinical standpoint, they are excellent. The dental hygienist who does the cleanings is truly a ray of sunshine — one of the most positive, kind, and wonderful people you could hope to meet in a dental setting. Every member of the staff is polite, professional, and helpful.

The doctor who performed my wisdom teeth removal was also outstanding. She was considerate, calm, and understanding throughout what was, for me, an absolutely horrific experience. Her team quite literally held my hand the entire time and made sure I was okay. Dental procedures can feel like torture, but this office genuinely does everything they can to make patients feel safe and supported.

However, their billing practices are deeply problematic.

Their business policy — likely set by ownership or the billing department — requires patients to pay for services upfront rather than billing insurance first. That shifts an unreasonable administrative burden onto the patient. You are then responsible for calling your insurance company to confirm claims were processed correctly, following up with the dental office to ensure reimbursements were handled properly, and verifying that you were paid back accurately. It is time-consuming, stressful, and frankly detrimental to patients.

If I have a contract with my insurance company and the dental office also has a contract with that same insurer, the provider should bill insurance first. Any remaining balance should then be billed to the patient. That is standard practice and far more transparent. Requiring full payment upfront feels unfair and, in my opinion, predatory.
