Called this place multiple times (like more than 8) over several weeks. No one will return my calls, I leave several voice message. Sent emails and no one will reply to them. I was wanting to get solar panel install on roof. Maybe I'm dodging a headache by them not reaching back out to me. I can't even say customer service is bad because I can't any response from this guys. I was referred to TayCo Electric by another company and they spoke high of this place. If they dont want my money im sure there's other company that will be glad to accept it for exchange of good quality work.

We recently had our solar panels installed and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. The team was professional, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable throughout the whole process. Our project manager, Yeraldo Hernandez, was outstanding—always responsive, patient with our questions, and great at keeping us updated from start to finish.

What really confirmed we made the right choice was when the county inspector mentioned that this company is one of the best solar panel installation teams in the area. After seeing their workmanship and attention to detail, I can clearly see why.

If you’re considering going solar, I highly recommend this company. Excellent service, top-quality work, and a project manager who truly cares about doing things right.

We had TayCo install our solar panels and battery and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We consulted with several different companies before choosing TayCo and ultimately went with them because they were the most knowledgeable AND competitively priced. They were also able to get the work done on a quick timeline, which was important for us. We worked with Yeraldo throughout the process, and he was incredibly communicative, responded to all of our needs and was tremendously helpful in dealing with Duke Energy for the interconnection and PowerPair process. We strongly recommend TayCo if you’re considering going solar.

I spent 3-4 months reviewing solar technologies and at the point I requested quotes for our install. I ended up with 8 quotes to review. I narrowed it down to one from TayCo Electric & Solar and one other. The final question is what won me over. I asked Joe Jensen where he planned to be in 5 years. His answer was right where he is, selling in the solar industry. That told me he was not out to just make a sale that he was passionate about what he does. Moving on to the coordination/ installation Whitney Smith was great to work with. She was always open to answering my emails and text messages. Everything was spot on in regards to communication and timing. The install crew was great to work with, professional and last but no least experienced. From a service standpoint, have not had to experience that and I relate that to the quality of the install and product offering. One thing to note as it relates to attention to detail from the install crew. In the one picture you see a white plumbing vent, this was painted black after I took the picture. It's the little things that make a difference. Thank you the the TayCo Electric and Solar crew for a job well done.

Today marks 4 months since my 9.6 kWh solar array was powered on. I love the system! I received 11 different quotes from 9 different companies and did a lot of homework. Joe Jensen at TayCo Electric was a great educator. Not only did Joe talk to me about the big picture, he was able to go into fine detail about components and worked up a few scenarios on the fly with me to look at the offsets. Joe helped me pick a setup that would optimize my production, allow me room for growth, and gave me the best payback. I had 26 370 watt SunPower panels installed on my roof which was estimated to offset 94% of my electrical use. Four months in, I am very happy to say that it has covered 107% of my electrical use, even with increased charging of our electric vehicles. The system took two days to install and the installation crew was on time, polite and professional. The installation is clean, no conduit, all the wires were run through the attic and walls. Be careful and do your homework! There are many companies out there trying to just make money and take advantage of the uneducated. I assure you TayCo is not one of them. They are local to Charlotte and focus on the customer. Give Joe a call and tell him Andrew sent you, you will not be disappointed! Oh, I also had TayCo Electric install an Electric Car charger in my garage as well. Loving it too!
