This place is a waste of time and energy. After jumping through all their hoops and driving over there to prove my identity, I was able to get their jobstack app functional and displaying jobs. All of the posted jobs are 50- 70 miles one way and only pay $15-$17 an hour. So let me get this straight, I'm supposed to drive 10 hours a week unpaid, spend at least $100 on gas to make a few hundred dollars. Not to mention all the wear and tear on my vehicle.Y'all on some good drugs!

Im a recent employee at people ready and ive had nothing but problems with this company...for example, back in April, I worked and was accepting jobs on job stack, which is there app, and everything is great...all of a sudden, sharon fair, calls me and takes me off a job ive already accepted at innovated medical and told me to go to piney flats at creative structures...needing to work, to provide for my family, I agree....I go to work, and I submitt my hours as normal at the end of the day....then all of a sudden, my pay is messed up...at first they say my card has expired, but it hadnt....then they say they paid the wrong wayne morris, that hes a guy in there system and we both have the same last two digits....not four....two digits in our s.s. number....personally, ive never heard of this but things happen right? Now remind you, this happens more than one time, and only when speaking with ms sharon....total, ive had three experiences with the pay going to the wayne morris in New york...
Also, there was an incident involving sharon, where she called me and asked if I wanted to work in jonesborough at the lowes parking lot, where they are building Taco bell...she stated it could be a long term assignment, so therefore I tell her I accept...remind you this is on the phone, not on the job stack app, so i cant see it....she says it will show up once she submitts it, but it never does....the very next morning, im on my way to work, and she calls and says not to go....that something is wrong with the account, that they had to wait til the bank opens at 9....at 11:17 I ask whats going on, and she says she dont know...needless to say I never went to the job lol....
Also, if you was to call Chattanooga people ready, it actually rings in johnson city....if you apply, they will have you download job stack....once you do, you will notice most jobs are between 35 and 75 miles one way....some jobs do offer gas money, but very rarely... and if they do its only 20$ and the hourly pay 13....its not worth it....
So personally, from my experience....dont do it....go to staffmark, staff pro, priority placements, etc...there is more temps out there, and these company's ive mentioned, ive personally worked with before, so thats where I'd go....I assure you from my experience there not professional....

Applied online and it said to come to any office to fill out my I-9 form and I looked them up yesterday and there website says Monday through Friday open from 5 something in the morning to 6 in the afternoon and showed up there yesterday around 1 or two doors were locked and nothing was posted about them not being in office. Didn't even get a chance to make it in the door and already had a bad experience with them and wasted gas that I didn't have and caused me a great deal of problems yesterday. So I won't be returning to this place at all

Wish could give them a 0. The place is nasty uncalled for. The bathroom was so nasty. One of the three should clean up no excuse that they want give you a cleaning lady. Only take 30mins in morning or 30 before closing. Yes they do talk behind peoples back why customers are sitting there I was just with a friend (I would never us them). But signed up for text messaging alerts got rude messages back! Should be able to text jobs get a listing so not real sure what the text messaging service is about.

It took them four days to get me signed up. They acted as if that was the normal time it takes, but my husband signed up in North Carolina and they got him signed up and on a job the very next day. They have terrible people skills. An I heard the one lady making fun of a worker saying she was on steroids and that's why she is always emotionally unstable. I didn't want to hear their gossip when I was there to feed my daughter. They need to go to training for this job because it's obvious they didn't get any to work there. Oh and I notice that when they broadcast a job, you can accept it immediately but they will wait a few hours to tell you that job has been filled. Very unprofessional. I'll recommend this job to no one. Not even a starving homeless person should be as needy as to work at this people ready location. I wish I could rate it a zero star. Pathetic class
