Came here for lunch on a weekday, was quite busy but staff was prepared. Quality of the food is very high and was impressed with the drinks. First time I had whiskey mixed with blue curacao and it worked! Pricey but still good value, especially for the area. Try and get a patio table if the weather is nice.

Food was decent. We ordered the margarita pizza and the mushroom truffle pasta. The pizza was a bit underwhelming but the pasta was solid. Smaller portions than I was hoping for based on the price. Our service was very good and we got seated on a private balcony on the second floor which was a plus! We were overall fairly happy with our experience.

Very pleasant surprised. The reception , the service, the atmosphere, the food at the highest. The prices reasonable. No difference compared with any (good) terrace in Italy. Matteo was really special and we could see we were not the only one who appreciated him.
I will definitely visit again ! Nobody is nervous at Trattoria Nervosa ! Not the personal , not the customers. But the name is great !!!

This is hands down the most delicious Italian restaurant I’ve had in Toronto so far. I used to work in Malta, Europe, years ago and had plenty of chances to visit Italy, so I’ve always had a soft spot for Italian cuisine. That also means I’m pretty picky when it comes to the flavors, but this place truly nails the most classic Italian dishes. If you’re a fan of Italian food, this spot is an absolute must-try.
On top of the great food, our server Vanessa was incredibly attentive and made the whole dining experience feel so warm and welcoming.
If you’re visiting Toronto, don’t miss out on this restaurant—you won’t be disappointed!

SSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOO disappointed in the level of service. Was summarily dismissed when the line up began behind us. They said it was a 30 minute wait for our two children and two adults... when one group after the next was served. Instead of giving us options, they preferred the couples instead of family of four. I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a teenager.... never again!

This Italian restaurant in Yorkville offers a delightful dining experience with its charming patio and cozy indoor seating. The service here is exceptional, and the food arrives promptly after ordering. Additionally, the patio areas are pet-friendly, making it a great spot for families.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Trattoria Nervosa.
I ordered the short rib risotto and was shocked to realize it was served on a chipped porcelain plate. For a restaurant in Yorkville that markets itself as upscale, serving food on damaged dishes is completely unacceptable — both aesthetically and from a health and safety perspective.
What upset me even more was the response from management. I brought it to their attention, and the manager showed absolutely no concern. There was no sincere apology, no effort to resolve the situation, no replacement, no refund, and not even a small gesture like offering a coffee or dessert. The whole situation was handled very dismissively.
What makes this even more disappointing is that I actually eat here and order from here very frequently. I’ve been a loyal customer and genuinely enjoyed this restaurant in the past, which is why the lack of professionalism and care was surprising. Loyal customers should not be treated this way when raising a completely valid concern.
Unfortunately, this experience left a very bad impression and made me question the standards and customer service at this restaurant.

We came from Montreal to Toronto specifically to try this restaurant, and it absolutely delivered. The food was authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. What made the experience even better was the outstanding service from the staff, especially Chris the manager, who made us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of throughout the evening. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food with such attentive hospitality. Definitely worth the trip, and we’ll be coming back next time we’re in Toronto.

We’d booked but were offered the last two tables available, both of which were pretty poor. One was next to constantly passing serving staff and the other was in blinding sun. The blinds couldn’t be put down and they couldn’t move us when nearby tables became free. The pizza was reasonable but I wouldn’t count black pepper as a topping and I had to ask for chilli oil.

Our family of 4 sat upstairs in a nicely decorated, cozy room. We had the burrata, bread basket and kale salad to start. All excellent! The mushroom Mafalda was super creamy and luxurious. Generous portion size. My Arctic Char was perfect cooked. Tiramisu was delicious. Excellent service.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of their food after ordering delivery, especially as someone who has visited in person and enjoyed their dishes when properly made. I ordered the Capellini and tiramisu - the capellini came without any goat cheese (which is the selling point of the dish) and the tiramisu was smaller than the size of my hand. The tiramisu when ordered at the restaurant is enough for two people, but the delivery one would barely feed one person. I’d expected significantly better quality regardless if I order in person or delivery, especially at the price point they’re charging.

Best tiramisu I’ve ever had. Pizza was great. Kale salad was great. Cacio e pepe, bruschetta, and cannoli were average.
Staff were kind and friendly. Food came out quickly.
Came for the winterlicious lunch menu at $34 which came with an appetizer, main, and dessert. For $34 that is a great deal.

Great food and service. I went with my partner for a late lunch and the food did not disappoint. We got the burrata as appetizer and it was so good and fresh. The lasagna was tastier than I imagined and the presentation was so pretty. My partner got the pasta mafalde, which was the right amount of creamy and tasty. The atmosphere was a little loud to talk with the music and background noise, but it was still an enjoyable lunch.

Had one of the best plates of pasta and a year later I’m still thinking about it. The seating area is nice and quaint. The sauce was so flavorful and the staff were really nice. I came to eat here for my birthday one night and the restaurant was full but they luckily were able to make a table for me and I was so grateful. I can’t wait until I can come back.
