Dr. Sal is the most caring, kind and accurate dentist I have ever gone to. He takes any amount of time necessary to thoroughly assess a patient’s dental needs. He is not a high pressure, greed driven doctor. Dr. Sal will even give you better options if he thinks they might meet your needs. I would absolutely advise anyone to make an appointment with him to find out for themselves!

It has been hard to find the words to express my deep appreciation for this wonderful surgeon, but I must try, because he, Dr. Sal, has not only given me the most functional and most beautiful teeth I have ever had in my entire life, but he did it with exceptional patience, understanding, and grace. He is as his website claims, a surgeon, an artist, an engineer. All of which has been demonstrated to me firsthand beyond a shadow of a doubt. He is, however, so much more than even that. He is genuinely concerned about the health and comfort, physical and mental, of his patients by being readily available to schedule a quick visit or to just answer any concerns one may have—again, I know this firsthand. You would be wise to schedule a visit with Smile Makeovers at the onset. Otherwise, you could wind up like me and spend a couple of weeks and a few hundred dollars scheduling introductory visits with various dentists in the Pittsburgh area. All of whom, as far as I was concerned, were more interested in making a buck. Did I mention that Smile Makeovers was very reasonably priced? They are. Oh, and he has a lab on site. That is where this surgeon’s artistry and engineering aptitude shine. So, no waiting around for temporaries from an outsourced lab. He does it in house, himself. Smile Makeovers in Wexford, PA took excellent care of my son during his two dental implant procedures. We traveled 90 minutes for his care, and it was absolutely worth it. I recently had a dental implant placed, and the entire experience was exceptional from beginning to end. I was really anxious before meeting Dr Sal but he made the process and the treatment really easy and seamless. Dr. Sal is thorough, gentle, and highly skilled. He really took the time to explain every step of the process and made sure that I understood. This helped me feel comfortable and informed throughout. Dr.sal does a great job and is experienced! He is compassionate and works towards your goals with you. I was able to be seen promptly for a consultation and had the problem tooth pulled within 4 days. I recommend this practice!

Had two implants - the process was quick and the results are great so far. Several months of healing before my follow up appointment the get the permanent teeth. The aftermath was less painful than expected. I only need Ibuprofen for the following day and all is good currently. Looking forward to going back and glad I had the procedure. I would recommend the practice to any of my friends. Very professional. Thanks!

I came in for a consultation about getting a few implants, and honestly, I was kind of nervous going in. But Dr. Sal was super kind and made me feel really comfortable right away. Dr. Sal placed six fixed implants on my front teeth about three years ago, and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. I can eat anything without a problem and feel great about my smile. Recently, I needed another implant on my bottom right side, so of course, I came back to him. Dr. Sal is an exceptional dentist and person. His attention to detail, perfectionism, experience, and knowledge greatly surpass what is expected of a clinician. He is incredibly passionate about aesthetics and implants, and has traveled extensively to seminars and hands-on courses to expand on his knowledge.
More than that, he is incredibly kind and empathetic, immediately making his patients feel comfortable and at ease.
I wouldn’t trust anyone more than Dr. Sal to take care of myself, friends, or family. He is one of a kind!
