8 days to ship from UT to Denver??? My expectations for any freight company are pretty low, but this one has exceeded that expectation in a negative way. I will be sure to NOT use this company again. I would recommend going elsewhere.

Absolutely unprofessional dispatch manager that I spoke on the phone with. I was expecting a moving company that was scheduled to drop off moving cubes betwen 8am to 8pm. I accidentally missed the call at around 8am so I tried calling back at 9am to no response. I then circled my apartment complex multiple times and did not see the moving cubes. I tried calling back 4 more times throughout the day and finally got a hold of someone at around 6pm. The person whom I spoke to clearly had a tone that she wanted to go home and never introduced herself. She then tried to blame me as a the victim saying that the driver documented his location at my apartment complex and that maybe I should look harder as if I didn't see the large moving cubes. I then asked if there was a policy about best times to call and why I was not able to contact someone sooner because the driver was now apparently home. She then said, "try calling again tomorrow after 7am, ok bye bye" and hung up on me.

This trucking company: the dispatcher loaded my product 3 times. Each time the driver said my product was too heavy to unload.
The weight of 800lbs was known in the product spec sheets . So fundamental in the trucking industry.

My recent experience with ABF Freight and their employees was nothing short of appalling. The behavior of the driver and the dispatch manager was completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
The driver assigned to deliver my shipment was physically aggressive, threatening, and condescending. When asked to place the shipment in the specified delivery location—details clearly outlined in the delivery instructions—he flatly refused, arrogantly stating that he was “doing me a favor” instead of simply doing his job. Such behavior is inexcusable, especially in a customer-facing industry.
When I pressed further for the delivery to be completed as agreed, the driver contacted his dispatch manager. Instead of resolving the issue or ensuring the delivery was completed correctly, the manager told the driver to “teach me a lesson.” As a result, the driver attempted to put the pallet back on the truck and leave me to “figure it out later.” This level of spiteful, retaliatory behavior speaks volumes about the company’s lack of professionalism and disregard for its customers.
Not only did this interaction waste my time and energy, but it also underscored the toxic attitude this company fosters among its employees. ABF Freight’s inability to handle such a basic task with even a modicum of respect and professionalism is astonishing. I would strongly advise against using their services if you value your time, money, or sanity.
ABF Freight, take note: this behavior is completely unacceptable. Your company needs serious introspection and immediate changes to your training, policies, and overall approach to customer service.

We used them to move from Maryland to Colorado. Needed a couple month of storage too. I thought it was a a better value than packrat or pods. More room and no weight limits. Only complaint is wished they had newer trailers. Ours had a couple of small holes in the floor that let road spray in.
