I've been going here for my annual skin check for several years now. Everyone on staff here is awesome. They are all friendly and accommodating. I saw Katherine Fritts this time for my exam. She explained what she was doing and answered any questions I had. She did find a place on my calf that she felt should be biopsied. I had no idea it was even there until she showed me. Again, she explained what she was going to do and made sure I was comfortable while she did it. I have absolutely no complaints and will continue to go back to this practice.

Dr. Brelsford and her staff removed a cyst from my face last month. Their skills are impeccable and their bedside manner is encouraging. The site has healed and there is no sign of this cyst that I had for four years. Though my insurance didn't cover it, the price was very reasonable for the time they spent performing the treatment. Nicely done!

I scheduled this visit because a painful plantar wart was making walking difficult. Two adjacent warts on the outer edge of my left foot were in a weight-bearing area, causing discomfort with every step, and two others seemed to be forming. I went in hoping for a treatment that could address them more quickly than at-home remedies.

A brief cryotherapy treatment was performed, and I was advised to use over-the-counter medication and duct tape at home. The cryotherapy did not help at all, and I am still experiencing the same level of pain despite following the recommended at-home treatment.

I was later billed $118 for “destruction of benign lesions.” For a treatment that provided no improvement whatsoever, this feels like a significant charge. There was no discussion beforehand about what my out-of-pocket cost would be and the cryotherapy was presented to me casually as “I could spray it if you want”, rather than as a separately billable procedure. Had I known the expense relative to the expected benefit, I would have reconsidered proceeding.

At this point, I’m not sure I want to get follow-up care, as it appears I would incur additional charges for similar treatment without meaningful results. I left feeling disappointed both in the outcome and in the overall value of the visit.

It has been about 6 months since my experience here and it has never stopped nagging at me. My wife scheduled me an appointment here because she has always paid attention to skin spots she was concerned about and because of my family history with skin cancer. She always came to the appointments and particularly spoke about problem areas I could not even see on my head and back.

At my third appointment, the previous two had no issue and were fine, the assistant stopped her at the door going back and said no one was allowed back with me unless they were a caretaker. I told her I was uncomfortable with that arrangement because my wife is a part of my care and I would not be here without her and I don’t know what changes have happened. We were both told that this has always been the policy of the office manager and we had no options. We were talked down to and told we either comply or leave right now.

We were both shocked but I went back alone in the meantime. The assistant began asking questions including about a spot on my back and if it had changed at all recently. My response was that I don’t know, my wife tracks those things, especially for that area, which is why I would like her here. She snapped at me that it was not an option and asked if we were going to have a problem. She eventually left and I decided this was not the office for me so I got dressed to leave.

The front desk was unhelpful and standoffish to my wife who was asking for any paperwork she or I could sign so she could be a part of my care. They eventually told her there WAS something we could sign but never produced it then said it wasn’t an option anymore after I came back out of the room.

I’m in my mid-thirties and have never had this type of experience with a doctors office before and I would really think a spouse would be a critical part of the type of care a dermatologist would give. I don’t know if the office has the legal right to not allow my wife with me, but if they feel it is critical to reject the person most critical to this part of my health, I deeply question the entire practice.

I have noticed to every negative experience by patients online the response is that reviews are the wrong place to give this feedback because of privacy and there is never a real response, often just a copy and paste canned answer. The review is not for them, it’s for other patients that want to be treated with respect and not like a throw away source of income.

My experience was very much negative and left me with the very distinct feeling they could care less about my best interest as a patient. I would not recommend this practice.

I went for a skin check appointment because I had not been in a “few years.” I was greeted by Aaron, who took down the preliminary information and assisted PA Abby Singh throughout the appointment. Both Aaron and Abby were professional and friendly and made the visit as comfortable as possible. Abby did an amazing job at completing my skin check. She was very thorough making sure to check even between my toes. During the examination she did an excellent job at explaining process and provided information for any concerns. I ended up with two biopsies and a plan moving forward. Based on the service provided during this appointment, I have already booked a follow up at the three and six month mark. I feel very lucky to have found this practice and would highly recommend them.

I had such a wonderful experience with Kristen, the PA in dermatology. From the moment she came into the room, she was warm, attentive, and incredibly kind. She took the time to really listen to my concerns, explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, and made me feel completely comfortable every step of the way.

What truly stood out to me was how genuine she is — I could feel that she truly cares about her patients. Kristen didn’t rush the visit or make me feel like just another appointment; she made me feel seen and understood. I left feeling not only hopeful about my treatment but also confident that I’m in excellent hands.

I genuinely believe that Kristen and the dermatology team are going to help me become a healthier and better version of myself. I’m so grateful to have found such a compassionate and knowledgeable provider!

Everything about this practice is top notch. The reception area was beautifully decorated and the office staff was polite and efficient. I was called to the examining room, which appeared sterile and clean, before my appointment time. The nurse and PA (Katherine) were both professional, knowledgeable, very kind, and considerate. All of my questions were answered and I never felt rushed with time constraints.

I was very disappointed at the disregard for my time and that my case notes were wrong (4th visit). I show respect by arriving 10 minutes early and waiting patiently. I corrected the intake assistant and waited until 30 minutes past my appointment time to ask about the delay. I was told "the doctor will be with you shortly." I told the assistant I couldn't wait any longer; I'd been there 45 minutes and I had an hour drive back to work. They kept closing my door and insisting on making me wait while "my case was presented." I again told them I couldn't wait, and they closed the door in my face. If the staff will not be able to see their patients, they should be respectful of my time and either make 5 minutes to see their patients, ask a colleague to do it instead, or they should reschedule. I won't go back.

Nicely run office, no time wasted. Very friendly, engaging staff. The technician George, was skillful administering numbing shots and very professional. I absolutely adore Verum Cutis Dermatology! Dr. Brelsford is not only incredibly professional but also has a bubbly personality that makes every visit a delight. I’ve had several cosmetic procedures with her, including fillers and neuromodulators, and the results have always been amazing. My latest lip fillers turned out beautifully.

Today, Melissa performed a HydraFacial, which was truly exceptional. She is sweet, knowledgeable, and explained every step of the process. I learned how HydraFacials improve skin hydration, radiance, and address issues like fine lines, wrinkles, and acne.

The ambiance was perfect too, relaxing music played softly in the background, and the bed was warm and cozy. To make it even more comfortable, Melissa placed a warm blanket over me, which really helped me unwind. It was such a lovely touch that made the experience even more enjoyable.

The clinic offers both medical and aesthetic procedures, and the staff is consistently nice, knowledgeable, and professional.

What’s even more exciting is that they are expanding, which is amazing news! This growth will undoubtedly bring even more opportunities for innovative treatments and services. I would give it 10 stars if possible! Highly recommended!

While family goes here to see Dr. Brelsford and there is a reason for that - phenomenal treatment and care. She is not out to juice you for money, who is blunt with clear care instructions. I have NEVER had a person push any cosmetic things on me and took me 3 years to know they offer these services bc no one ever has mentioned these services to me. I love that about this place and her practice.
