So far, I am grateful for the staff members - my child says he has been treated so well. He is able to socialize with other children. I do wish they had more activities to keep the children busy and out of their thoughts but other than that - this place is a blessing. The doctors are inclusive, caring, and communicative. They put in the work to get to the root of the issue if any. I am impressed and again so very grateful for this hospital ❤️ My family has never experienced anything like this before so thank you guys so much for taking such good care of my son. 🙏🏼

Unfortunately I can't say anything good about this hospital. They falsely billed the VA in my name. Even though I gave them my insurance card. Now the VA is threatening to garish my VA benefits. I have tried to clear this up since October of last year . This hospital has caused me more anxiety and depression than accident and assault that sent me there. Now Im faced with a 12000 bill, a federal debt and severe anxiety.

Update- my child was not “treated” for anything instead she was jumped on twice by another patient and the staff denied anything happening. I’m still waiting on her medical record to see exactly what “treatment” they provided. I feel so sorry for the college kids that constantly get sent to this place. They have absolutely no voice at all.

my partner was sent here and it was just not a good place if you want them to get better. the "daily schedule" posted is a lie. they hardly do any therapy and the patients do absolutely nothing. they cold turkeyed my partner off his meds and then immediately put him on two new ones so he was miserable. just avoid this place

If I could leave lower than one star I would. This place and staff is a nightmare!
Neglect- YES! My daughter was sent to this facility and it is horrible. The staff constantly scream at the patients. My daughter asked for a hairbrush and was told they were out of them. Also, wore the same under garments for 4 days because they didn't have those either. Once the 72 hour hold was lifted, the dr decided to keep her- I wanted to speak to someone regarding our rights. Well they kept transferring my calls to a answering machine that belonged to nobody. Then told me that everyone had went home for the day. I still haven't been told the visitation policy and it's been a week. The website is a joke, they do not treat anything that is listed on that page.

My husband was transferred to the facility this evening where a massive fight broke out and a water cooler was picked up and thrown at other patients. My husband needs medical treatment which they do not provide the nurse that answered the phone when I called earlier said we're having a major emergency no One is safe right now I will let your husband know if and when it is safe again. Can anyone tell me who I can call to have my husband removed from this facility his life is literally in danger medically and physically

Oceans has always been easy to work with and have always done best with family's. They always want what is best for there family's and patients.

This place licensing should be pulled. My experiences here are inhumane. First I can't get information on contacting Stuart Archer. Allen McCartney is covering up the incident that occurred with my son on April 27, 2025. I would appreciate if I could speak with Stuart Archer the highest chain of command but until then at least I and my son is not the only ones being mistreated for the abuse being done to the Mentally Ill for a dollar. It's a process but at some point these injustices will be addressed and the help due for the Mentally Ill will be administered to help heal and save these patients.
Not giving up on restoration for the Mentally Ill.

Oceans Behavior Hammond La worse than terrible. If there was a negative 9 that’s what they would get. If you have a loved one involuntary there then expect NOTHING from them. No one would call me back. I only heard from the nurse because by law they had to tell me he fell and he fell 3 x. I left messages for doctor and social worker but no callback. They are about the almighty dollar and not health. He had same clothes on for days. He was freezing even though I brought long sleeve t shirt he wears under his flannel. He wears diapers and had to get them from his roommate who was 90. This place is not fit for anyone and Louisiana should revoke their license to practice. I will never ask 988 or 911 for help if this is what you get and believe what we got was below standard. I am sure he has ptsd from being there.

This place needs to be shut down and SEVERAL of the employees deserve criminal charges for medical malpractice and abusing mentally unstable patients. The nurse techs were lazy, abusive, and sometimes downright racist. The nursing staff was apathetic at best and couldn’t even hand out medication in a timely manner. The Doctor prescribed and ADMINISTERED medication that I specifically requested to not take due to previous side effects. Not to mention, I was discharged in a worse condition than when I arrived with zero after care plan. I will be reporting everything that I experienced to the medical board.

Where do I even begin? I'd give this place negative stars if possible. This place is a horror show. I went voluntarily to keep my in home services and was mistreated the entire time I was there. I was denied my regular meds such as insulin and blood pressure meds, they offer no diabetic or other alternatives for meals/snacks, I had to beg for toiletries, was unable to sleep due to the heat being ridiculously high and they "check" on you every 15 minutes yet they let a woman that was in the day room overnight die while they were sitting right next to her, patients are seriously mistreated and neglected, and to be quite honest I'm not sure a psychiatrist even works at the place (I know I never saw one). I filed a complaint while I was there which I had to write in crayon, and you would think someone would have the had the common courtesy to reach out about it, but nope. So, I'm lodging a formal complaint with the state and department of health, and I urge others who have experienced this place to do the same. Personally, I'd love nothing more than to file a class action lawsuit against the place and it's employees and have the whole place shut down. They sure aren't helping anybody.
