Big house projects can be stressful but Mike and team made it easy. It was simple to schedule a quote. Quick to respond, punctual, and most importantly they did a thorough and professional job. Would recommend!

We hired Crestwood to sand, smooth, and, repaint our living room walls which had a lot texture on them. And also to fix some issues with our bedroom ceiling. They did an excellent job for a good price.

I just called to get a quote for exterior paint on my house. I live close to Lee Summit where they do service. But when they heard my ZIP Code, they refused service because it’s the same ZIP Code as Ruskin Heights and apparently undesirable area. I am closer to Crestwood than Lee Summit is. This level of customer service seems odd for a business in the service industry.

Mike was responsive, honest, and didn't waste time. It was so easy to work with him. He was on site regularly to make sure the work was done right, and made sure ALL my questions were answered. 10/10, would hire again.

Edit, for more context:
My review above is for the owner, Mike Kelly. I liked working with him because he was frank and transparent --- not at all rude or dismissive, just experienced and honest. Like I said, he didn't waste time, his own or mine.

The painters/subcontractors were new to Crestwood. They were just fine, arrived on time and did the job quickly. Was everything HGTV perfect? No, because my house is old and I was specific about my needs (ex. Make this space look finished, and mitigate the lead paint risks). They were new subcontractors, and I knew that. They were good guys, and got the job done to my satisfaction. I witnessed Mike teaching, correcting, and making sure everything was done properly.

Those painters rely on Mike to find jobs and get experience. The most important thing for me is that Mike addressed all my concerns himself.

See before, during, and after photos. You can tell which are which!

Hired Crestwood Painting for an older residence in Brookside. The home was long overdue for exterior painting and required some siding repair. Mike's bid was nearly $3000 lower than the next highest bid. The house was painted quickly, on-time, and within budget. Satisfied with the final color and results.

Two points to consider when working with Crestwood. First, they relied on sub-contractors for our job. This may have contributed to some smaller issues with expected scheduling and details regarding siding repairs, etc. Second, communication between us and Mike and Mike and the sub-contracts required some careful attention. In the end, we are satisfied with the final result.

Crestwood Painting did a marvelous job painting and repairing the outside of our house. Their work-ethic and attention to detail were impressive. In this day and age, integrity and transparency mean everything. What we were promised was completely delivered and more. We would highly recommend Mike Kelly and his team without reservation. Thank you, Mike, for restoring the beauty of our Brookside home. We truly appreciate your team and their expertise.

We had a wonderful experience with Crestwood Painting. Mike was very patient and helpful during our walkthrough to figure out which rooms we wanted to paint, the colors, etc. The workers were fast and efficient, and the rooms look gorgeous in their new colors!

We had a great experience with Crestwood Painting! After having just purchased our new house, they were able to fit us into their schedule only a few days after getting an estimate to have the painting completed prior to our move-in date. Mike was great to work with and the painters were efficient while still doing great, quality work. We knew what we were getting from the estimate all the way through to completion, and that was important to us. Would definitely recommend this local Brookside/KC company!

Mike and the team did such a great job painting my house - I would definitely recommend them! They were super nice, thorough, hard-working, and detail-oriented. Communication with Mike all along the way was great. The team also took special care to protect my garden/flowers, which was really above and beyond! The work was completed quickly, but not at the expense of the quality and care. I was really pleased with the experience and can't recommend them highly enough!

I highly recommend Crestwood Painting. We hired them to paint the entire interior of our condo. I was hoping for perfection, since I was trusting them with my entire home and I was not disappointed. Everything about this business is extremely professional, from the website, booking the estimate, receiving the bid and especially the workmanship! I would absolutely use Crestwood again and I have already recommended them to a neighbor.
