Both the first and second time I applied for ssdi I was denied. I was shocked that I could be denied because I have a whole slew of serious health problems that are well documented and that I see providers for. The 3rd time was different, because I had Eric and his team in my corner. They worked hard to get all my medical records and to help me win my case. As an attorney he even reassured me when I needed reassuring which I needed. He was very professional throughout the entire process. If he needed something from me his assistants would call. AVOID AT ALL COSTS: Rasmussen Refused Consultation, Disrespectful, and Lazy

I was involved in an incident where a women ran me over intentionally, in a parking lot. I sustained a broken hand and a back injury. I was referred to this firm by LegalShield and was ready to hire Mr. Rasmussen, but his shocking lack of professionalism prevented me from ever even getting a consultation. I spent significant time providing his assistant with detailes, such as: multiple witnesses, medical docmentation, police incident report and the existance of a surveillance video.
After reviewing my comprehensive file, Mr. Rasmussen didn't bother calling. Instead, I received a cold email stating he wouldn't meet because I only had an "incident report," not a "police report." When I replied, explaining the basic necessity of the need to file a court summons to obtain the surveillance evidence, because it was on private property (an aspect of basic law that he should have already been aware of) along with the fact that a surveillance video wouldn't even be needed in my case since I have multiple witnesses and medical documentation. Even with all these details Mr Rasmussen's final, dismissive response to me via email was simply: "Please start the process yourself."

He didn't have the decency or professionalism to pick up the phone for a 30-minute consultation to discuss the case. This attorney treats potential clients like objects that can be tossed in the trash. Instead of me getting the representation I was hoping for, so that I can focus on getting healed up from this terrible incident. He wants me to worry about submitting court documents that you hire an attorney for? This guy is a joke. I was able to call another attorney who took my call right away, and made me feel like my life and my injuries mattered. This attorney was also disgusted with the way I was treated by Mr Rasmussen over a surveillance video that would most likely never be needed.
Save your energy and your money. Do not waste your time trying to get an appointment with Mr. Rasmussen.

I had an extremely complex worker compensation case, that morphed into other issues that ultimately required the additional protection of other attorney's. Eric at Rasmusson Law, took on those other issues along with the workers compensation case, even though he didn't have to. After approx. 2 years of offers, letters, claims, counter-claims, Dr. appointments, and settlement negotiations with several different entities, Eric, Mariana and the rest of his staff successfully fought and won every single issue that was a point of contention. He was able to secure a very large settlement from the workers compensation issue, as well as monetary awards from the other entities. Eric and his staff are extremely responsive and kept me abreast of everything regarding my case. I will most definitely seek Eric's legal assistance in the future should a situation arise. I would strongly recommend anyone facing the daunting challenge of a workers compensation case to call Eric. Once retained, you'll feel an enormous feeling of relief knowing Eric will take of you like a family member. Thank you Eric, you are amazing.

Eric Rasmussen has done a few cases for me over the span of five years. He is a hard working Attorney. He and his staff know how to research and find the information that will move your case forward in a positive way. He is honest as the day is long. He will fight to get you a fair outcome. I think you would have to look high and low to find a better man to take care of your legal issues. Eric went well above and beyond his legal obligations. He treated me with respect at all times. My husband Jack has been dealing with an injury at work since 2000. The WC Insurance company did really well through several surgeries. A few years ago Jack decided that he didn't want another surgery and began looking for other options. The WC insurance started questioning and denying different treatments. Eric was my workman’s comp attorney for over a year and half. He and his office are like no others, they worked hard to get my case what it deserved and was always available to answer questions.
