Austin is a man of his word. He held my hand, was patient, and helped answer all of my questions. He listened to what we wanted and his team followed through with every word that was promised. We had a vision and he helped see that come to light with our design picks, “that’s rare with contractors”. When he said a time he made sure that his team and contractors were there. Team builders were super organized and they had a handy app that kept us in the loop daily with pictures and a calendar that let us know what was happening and when. I would trust Austin and his team for all of your home remodel needs. It is hard to find contractors that stand by their word. He did that and more so. They took our home out of the 80’s and we couldn’t be pleased with the end result.

After contacting several contractors, I was starting to think my project would never get done. I had half a dozen companies come out, look at the job, shake my hand, and walk away. Many more that wouldn't even show up. Nobody was interested in taking it on, and none even offered recommendations for someone who might.

Then I contacted TEAM Builders, and the experience was completely different. Austin was willing to dive right in. He took the time to understand the project, explained the process in detail, set clear expectations, and answered all of my questions. From the beginning, I felt like they genuinely wanted to help instead of looking for the next easy job.

It was refreshing to work with a company that was willing to take on a challenging project when everyone else passed. TEAM Builders stepped up, delivered exactly what they promised, and did an excellent job. If you’re looking for a contractor that values solving problems, not just maximizing profits, I highly recommend giving them a call.

I would give a 2.5 if I could because they responded and showed up in the beginning of this short process. I’m not dogging these guys but I think it’s important for possible clients and management to hear.
We called about having someone come look at a backyard renovation that we are interested in doing. Sean came out, was very professional, friendly, and we went over the ideas that we have about how we envision the end product to look and gave him a budget that we wanted to be at. He explained that things can get done in stages if need be, get majority of project done, and then come back to it at a later date if things went above and beyond the budget. No problem.
He said that we would have a quote within a week. A week goes by and didn’t hear from him. I believe another week went by and I got a text explaining how he had some personal things going on and apologized for the lack of communication. Ok, we are reasonable people, we know life happens. Np. He got the quote over either the next day or following day.
We set up a date for him and another gentleman to come review the site and scan the property for their design team to get something on paper and we would hear from them in a week or so. We never heard back and it’s been almost a month and half. Ive texted him and called, no response. I also let him know that if they didn’t want to move forward with the project that it was totally fine and to let us know so we could remove them as a possibility. Crickets.
We’re big on keeping your word and communication. It’s ok to say no or no longer be interested in our project for any reason, but ghosting to me is unprofessional and sloppy.
I’m not sure if they do quality work or not. We never got that far. I hope this helps.

From the moment I met Austin I knew my project was going to be great. We designed an outdoor oasis, 2 car garage with a half bath and covered Linai. Each member of his team did a fabulous job and always took pride in their work. Jesse was my project manager and he did a fantastic job!

After hurricane Helene flooded our home on Lido Key with 18 inches of water, I hired Team Builders, SRQ as the general contractor to handle the renovation. Austin, the owner, helped us outline the scope of work needed, prepare a budget of expected expenses, and gave us a realistic time-line for the work. The renovation, recently finished, stayed in the parameters of the prepared budget and the time-line that they presented to us. Furthermore, we were extremely pleased with the quality of workmanship of all the trades people and subcontractors. Team Builders provided transparency throughout the process. Jesse, our job supervisor, was on top of logistics and necessary communications. We highly recommend you consider Team Builders as a general contractor for any building project tou are planning.
