This is my first experience ordering custom cabinets. Morning Star Design and Build were very accommodating and professional. My 2 cabinets were better than expected. They presented extremely well with a high-quality finish. All for a very competitive price!! I highly recommend and would use their services again without hesitation.

I used Daniel to transform a simple basement space into a living area for myself and my two kids. The space included a mini reno of a bathroom, adding a bedroom with a large closet and creating a mini kitchen. The task I presented to him was not any contractors dream but Daniel never once made me feel as if I was asking too much. He always found a way to produce what I was envisioning and for that I am incredibly grateful. He presented ideas when they were needed and support the ideas I had. His finishing work was amazing and I found all the tradesmen that were brought in to be pleasant, professional, and hard working. Daniel is talented man who anyone would be lucky to work with!

Created Magic Out of a Small Space

I had an excellent experience working with Morning Star Design and Build Inc. on a basement renovation that involved converting an oversized laundry and storage area with a water heater and shelving into a full 4 piece bathroom in my ground floor townhouse condo.

From start to finish, the work was handled professionally and with great attention to detail. Daniel took a very challenging space and completely re imagined it by reconfiguring the layout relocating utilities and carving out room for a full shower toilet vanity medicine cabinet and shelving. The trenching for plumbing and electrical work was done carefully and cleanly without any damage to the surrounding condo property which was very important to me.

The project took about four weeks and was completed on time and within budget. Daniel was confident pleasant and easy to work with. When I felt overwhelmed by design choices such as paint colours tile styles and finishes he made thoughtful recommendations that truly brought the bathroom to life. He even took the time to go with me to the tile shop so I could choose textures and finishes that matched my taste. The final result is bright modern and beautifully balanced.

What really stood out was his experience and coordination. He seamlessly managed and worked with other trades during the installation handled electrical plumbing doors locks and even helped with a few unrelated tasks like mounting a TV and changing hardware. There was minimal disruption throughout the process which made a big difference living in the home during construction.

Even after the project was completed Daniel followed up weeks later to make sure everything was working properly and that the space met my expectations and intended use. That level of customer care says a lot.

I spoke with and considered several contractors before choosing Morning Star Design and Build and I am very glad I did. Daniel came out on top for professionalism craftsmanship communication and overall trustworthiness. I would confidently recommend him to anyone looking for renovation work especially if you are trying to maximize functionality in a small or complex space.

I cannot say enough good things about what Daniel and his team did to transform our dated inefficient kitchen into a beautiful and useful space that we are thoroughly enjoying! Right from creating a design that understood our wants and needs to then giving us a detailed plan for the renovation. His eye for detail and quality of workmanship made it very easy for us not even doubt that the project would be a success and on time - and on budget. Daniel was also great in helping us with informed decisions of all the components (cabinets, hardware, countertops, backsplash, appliances). We also appreciated that he helped us see the long-term value of our choices. He and his team were great in communicating what to expect and when. I had seen some of his previous work - and that convinced me he was more than qualified to do our reno. We are thrilled with what Morningstar Design and Build did to design and build our dream kitchen!

Daniel and Morning Star Design and Build Inc. did an exceptional job on a full-unit renovation of my rental property, including all-new flooring. He was highly responsive, kept everything on schedule, and the workmanship is top notch. It’s clear he takes real pride in his work. I was privileged to have Daniel (Morning Star Design and Build inc.) complete an extensive renovation on a home I was preparing to sell. Daniel's work was excellent, on time and under budget. I was very inspired by his skill and his capacity to learn what I needed and follow through to completion.
