I have been coming in for cuts but yesterday I went in for a cut and balayage! Blended beautifully. Danielle is truly the best of the best! I have gotten soooo many compliments, she usually cuts my hair and my hair grows so fast. Her entire team is very friendly and have great hospitality to their clients. Recommend this place 11/10

I had my balayage done by Mikayla on my birthday, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! She was incredibly sweet, made me feel so comfortable, and truly listened to what I wanted. My hair turned out absolutely amazing — she did such a beautiful job with the color and blend.

She even accommodated my boyfriend being there, which I really appreciated and thought was so thoughtful. Overall, the whole experience felt relaxed and special, which made my birthday even better.

I will definitely be coming back to Mikayla for my hair in the future. Highly recommend her!

I had such a great experience at this salon in downtown Chino. The space is super chic and stylish, but still feels warm and welcoming. Everyone there is genuinely kind—from the front desk to the stylists. I arrived early and had multiple people check on me and make sure I was comfortable, which really stood out.
Veronica is incredible. I came in with brassy, off-tone color that just wasn’t flattering, and bangs that had been flipping the wrong way for over 3 years. She completely fixed everything in one visit. My color now looks soft, natural, and exactly what I wanted, and my bangs are finally laying properly (I honestly didn’t think that was possible, I thought it was my hair being weird, but it was just the cut).

You can tell Veronica really knows what she’s doing and takes pride in her work. She's a sweetheart and I adore her, not just for what she did for my hair, she's cool people. I left feeling like myself again and I'm extremely happy.
Highly recommend this salon --especially Veronica.

My visit to Rock Paper Scissors Hair Studio was absolutely wonderful! I was referred by a friend and booked a shampoo and haircut, and from the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. My stylist, Kamie, treated me with such warmth and genuine kindness.

Kamie is incredibly detail-oriented and truly dedicated to her craft. She goes above and beyond to ensure her clients are happy with the final result. She’s also so easy to talk to. Our conversation flowed naturally and made the appointment fly by. Her bubbly personality made the entire experience even more enjoyable!

As someone who had never been to a hair salon before, I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this studio to my friends and family. The space itself smells fresh and looks beautiful, clean, stylish, and inviting. I’m so happy to have found my new go-to spot for hair care!

I am very disappointed in the quality of service and how my hair looks as a result of booking with Nadeen (@hairbynadeen__ on IG). I had virgin brown hair that had never before been treated and I asked for a golden chestnut color all over. I left the salon the first time with orange hot roots and red hair all over, even though I remember letting her know that I did not want any red tones in my hair. I came back a second time to see if it could be fixed and my hair looked worse than the first time. I had a messy mahogany brown smudge (?) root and the rest of my hair was orange and incredibly dry. By this point, my hair was put through several bleach baths and felt incredibly course when I would try to wash it under water at home. In the end, the owner tried to fix it with a gloss but neither her nor Nadeen ever apologized or cared to at least provide a partial refund. I went to another salon shortly after and they let me know that they receive many clients from this salon whose hair was ruined and were not surprised. Dave your money and your hair’s health and do not visit this salon. Also, don’t bother responding to this review if you are the owner of this salon. You made me feel like it was my fault that my hair was ruined and now I am left to fix the damages Nadeen caused. I spent $260 for my hair to be ruined and for absolutely zero accountability on your end. P.S. The photos are not accurate to how my hair looked in person and my friends and family thought it was a joke that I paid someone to let my hair look like this. The brown gloss that the owner put on top of the orange mess only lasted a week and it was mostly likely a box dye or she used very little for the length of my hair. I ended up cutting my hair almost six inches to start from new again. You are a scam of a salon.

Such a great experience from start to finish. I brought my daughter in for a haircut and it came out better than I expected. She was so happy and confident afterward. Booking online was incredibly easy, even the night before, which I really appreciated.

Danielle did both my daughter’s hair and mine. I had a haircut, gloss toner, and a Brazilian blowout and I absolutely love the results. The salon has a warm, welcoming vibe and everyone has great energy. The process felt effortless and flexible, which is hard to find. I already have my next appointment booked and highly recommend this studio.

Mikayla did such an amazing job on my long layered haircut!! She listened to what I wanted and took her time. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Jenna! From the moment we walked into Rock Paper Scissors Salon, she was so warm, kind, and inviting; she immediately made us feel comfortable and welcomed. Jenna did an amazing job on my girlfriend’s Brazilian blowout, and the results were absolutely stunning. My girlfriend walked out with the biggest smile on her face, which says it all.
The salon itself has such a great vibe: stylish, friendly, and relaxed. It’s located right in the heart of cute little downtown Chino, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Between Jenna’s talent and the overall atmosphere, this was hands down one of the best salon experiences we’ve had. Highly recommend both Jenna and Rock Paper Scissors!

I cannot recommend Jenna enough! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel completely at ease and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. The Brazilian blowout she gave me was flawless and my hair has never looked or felt better. It’s silky, smooth, and frizz-free, even on humid days.

What I appreciated most was Jenna’s attention to detail and the way she explained each step of the process so I knew my hair was in expert hands. She also shared tips on how to make the results last as long as possible, which I’ve been following with great success.

If you’re considering a Brazilian blowout, do yourself a favor and book with Jenna. She’s a true artist, and the results speak for themselves!

I would give Zero stars if I could. Truthfully I did not want to make this review but after thinking so much about my experience and feeling unhappy and lowkey scammed, and after reviewing the owners terrible responses to customers on yelp and google I decided to write it. (I did not reach out for them to fix the issue or money back based on her rude and attitude filled responses to her customers) I had came in here once before for a haircut by Ashley that I really loved!!! So for my next retouch i wanted to try someone new and based off Veronica's instagram I chose her. I had a large amount of growth since my last bleaching session and I explained to her I wanted to stay blonde, she suggested to avoid damaging the hair she would do some highlights but also explained that my hair would not be as light as my previous hair and it would have to be done in sessions. I accepted because I felt she was the expert and she was looking out for me. She put a dark toner that darkened my hair and I was a little upset but in the end i figured she knew what was best! Now when I went homeI noticed how terribly she applied these highlights (I will insert pics) I had multiple tones in my hair and I was so embarrassed to show the girls and I just hated it!! Even my girlfriends were like "WTF?!?! HAPPENED?" Especially for the $350 she charged me!!! It was suppose to be a Bday gift to myself!! I felt SCAMMED!!!I was so mad at myself for spending that kind of money to look like I walked out a JANKY salon! So I ended up going elsewhere to get a consultation and the girl fixed the mess and even lightened me lighter than what Veronica said was doable all while keeping my hairs integrity! I wonder if its a scam to get u to come in sessions to get you to pay more in the long run! Be careful ladies!
