Where do I even begin?

I first met Dr. Tracey and her team over a year ago after my dog began having seizures. After six long weeks of getting nowhere with my previous vet, I decided it was time to seek a second opinion. I remembered seeing a Facebook post recommending Dr. Tracey’s clinic, so I made the call — and I am incredibly thankful that I did.

Her team was quick to get me in for an appointment, and from that very first visit, I knew we were in the right place. Dr. Tracey immediately stepped in, answered all of my questions, addressed every concern I had, and began treating my dog that same day.

Throughout the entire process, Dr. Tracey and her team showed nothing but kindness, compassion, patience, and understanding. They supported me through one of the hardest times imaginable and never once made me feel rushed or dismissed.

Over the following year, Dr. Tracey helped us significantly reduce my puppy’s seizures. Although we were unfortunately never able to completely stop them, (even though we tried everything imaginable) she gave me something I will forever be grateful for — an extra year with my dog that I truly never thought I would have.

When the heartbreaking time came to say goodbye and make the decision to euthanize him, Dr. Tracey and her team continued to show the same empathy, compassion, and genuine care they had shown from day one.

I will continue bringing my other dog and my cat to Dr. Tracey and her team because the care, compassion, and support they provide are truly unmatched. They have been there for me through some of the hardest moments, and I cannot thank or recommend them enough. If you are looking for a veterinary clinic that genuinely cares about both you and your pets, this is the place to go.

Dr. Tracey is truly one of a kind! I can’t thank her enough for the compassion, patience, and genuine care she shows my fur kids, Napoleon and Bella, at every single visit. No matter the reason we are there, they are always excited to see her, which really says everything about the kindness and comfort she brings to her patients!

Dr. Tracey and the entire Trinity team are absolutely remarkable. Chelsie, Kristen, Kelsey, and everyone we have met have always been so kind, friendly, welcoming, and genuinely lovely. I had a great experience with Trinity Vet. The pricing is reasonable, and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

My cat had an issue with his eyelid folding inward, and Dr. Tracey provided honest, thoughtful advice. She recommended only eye drops rather than more invasive treatment, and they worked perfectly—the issue healed completely.

She also took the time to follow up with care instructions by email after the appointment, which I really appreciated.

I’m really, really happy I found this locally owned vet clinic. After my dog had a seizure-type episode for the second time, I called my regular vet (who ive been with for few years) to ask for guidance or see if I could bring her in. The interaction was very rushed and impersonal, and I was advised to take her straight to the emergency animal hospital without much discussion about her current condition.

I was referred to the emergency clinic next door, which is owned by the same corporation (VCA). When I called, they told me they could see her in about three hours and that the exam fee would be $150. Which i was fine with, but i felt that id rather try to find a local vet at this point.

I then contacted Trinity Vet Clinic, and the experience was much better. The receptionist was kind, calm, and took the time to ask questions about what had happened and how my dog was doing at that moment. She explained their fees upfront, which were lower than what I had been quoted elsewhere, and helped me understand that unless my dog was actively seizing or worsening, it wasn’t necessary to rush to emergency. Since the episode lasted under five minutes and my dog was back to her normal self afterward, it was reassuring to know she could safely wait a couple of hours for an appointment.

The visit itself was excellent. The staff were all very compassionate and knowledgeable, and the vet didn’t rush the exam at all. They took the time to explain diagnostic options and answer my questions thoroughly. Even with the lower fees, the level of care and attention was much better than what I had experienced elsewhere. Vet care is always going to be expensive but its important to find a vet where you are not being upsold or exploited for their profit.

I had a wonderful experience at Trinity Veterinary Care with Dr. Tracey. I brought in my senior cat, Ophelia, who is 17, and I can honestly say this visit was a complete turnaround from a stressful experience I had just days before with another vet.

Dr. Tracey is 100X better—she is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about both the animal and the owner. She didn’t push unnecessary blood work right away, but instead took the time to ask thoughtful questions, talk through options, and make sure I understood everything. Her explanations were clear, concise, and reassuring.

Most importantly, you can truly see that she cares deeply for the animals in her care. It made such a difference for Ophelia, and for me as a pet parent.

Dr. Tracey is knowledgeable, concise, and compassionate—a rare combination. If you want a vet who really sees and cares for your animal, this is the place to go!

These are the best vets I've ever had! Our dog, Goose, and our 2 cats, Willow and Artemis, have been seen here for the past year and every time the staff are extremely kind, understanding, and compassionate. They follow up after appointments to make sure our pets are doing okay. They're very helpful with recommendations and they are sensitive to any concerns we present. Our animals are our babies and we don't trust just anyone with their care, but we trust this vet 10,000%.

My sister's cat needed a semi-urgent assessment, and that initial assessment, turned into a euthanasia.. cats are good at hiding their ailments- Sev had pancreatitis and kidney failure. Wow.

Not only were the staff amazing over a weekend email, responding to get her boy Seven seen quickly... In person, they were patient, compassionate, empathetic, caring, kind.. I can't say enough about the women working in this clinic.

I have had a lot of experiences in my life with Veterinary services, but this was a whole other level of service.

I am beyond grateful for the patience and thoughtfulness exhibited by the entire clinic- There is even a sign at reception with a small candle which asks others to be respectful as someone is saying goodbye to their loved one.

The medical care was thorough, the assessments and options were not unrealistic- The staff/vet didn't waste their time, or ours, nor did they rush anything.. gave us real options and hid nothing from us.

Price wise- about 700$ for a thorough assessment, labs, and euthanasia. Let me tell you, there's nothing worse than paying for a bad experience when it comes to these situations and I've been through it.. you can't buy the level of care you receive here.

Thank you, we received Sevens paw prints in the mail, and will never forget the pure compassion that was shared in such a difficult time letting such a sweet old man go.

Hurray! I finally found a great vet practice in Barrhaven. The staff is welcoming, supportive and professional. Incredibly, my nervous little dog was chill during our hour long visit. I was given in-depth information, as well as a few treatment options to consider. I was never pressured, in any way. If you need a Barrhaven vet, you will be in great hands at Trinity.

I had a great visit with Dr. Tracey today with our 2 dogs. She was super knowledgeable and went through the processes of vaccination, flea, and tick. I appreciated her through explanation and breaking down cost. She gave us the time of day with our worries for each dog. I will be back. Trinity Veterinary Care is hands down the best vet I’ve ever had. They recently extracted two of my cat’s teeth and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The team was incredibly professional and caring, the cost was very reasonable, and the level of communication was unlike anything I’ve seen from a vet before and truly set a new standard. Honestly, people need to drop their current vet and make the switch!

My dog had her annual today with Dr Tracey and Kristin. It was such a good visit, they were super accommodating, gentle, and kind to my pup. She is a nervous dog and not only did they get her a yoga mat and blanket because she hates hard floors, but they really took their time and worked on my dog when she was relaxed and ready. We all even sat on the floor for the vaccines! They really make the animal comfortable. She is 3 and I've never seen her relax in this atmosphere the way she did today. I am so happy this clinic has opened and I am happy to be a client. I highly recommend them for your pets!

Very happy we could get our two dogs in. The staff and Dr Tracey were fantastic. Just had our 14 year old chi in for dental. Had all but one tooth removed. He was none the worse for were. Very reasonable fee!
