I have been buying tires, brakes from Les Schwab for close to 40 years (and now oil changes) and have always been happy with their service and quality. But recently I had problems and they treated me better than I expected. I had a shaking start in my pickup, I took it into My local LS (Red Bluff, CA). They said that one of my tires was coming apart. I paid a pro-rated amount judged on the ware. My wife and I left to visit family in Montana with the 5th wheel. Going into Idaho my pickup started shaking again very badly again. We drove to the LS in American Falls, ID. They said two more of the tires were coming apart and he replaced them for free. I asked him about the last of the four tires and he said he could not replace that one because it still looked good. I thanked him for taking such good care of us and went on to Montana. Headed back home to CA a week later and it started again. This time in Elko, NV. Sure enough it was the last of the four tires we had purchased. He replaced it for free. They both took very good care of us and quickly. We were very impressed and happy with the service.

I had a tire with a fast air leak and brought it into Les Schwab in Elko right when they opened at 8:00 AM. By 8:30, they had already diagnosed the problem, replaced the valve stem at no charge, and had me back on the road.

The tire has held air perfectly ever since. Fast, professional service with knowledgeable technicians who clearly know what they’re doing. It’s refreshing to find a shop that takes care of customers without trying to upsell unnecessary work.

Highly recommend the team at Les Schwab in Elko!

We had a leak in our tire on our drive back from Yellowstone and stopped over at Les Schwab. Alex was quick, responsive and fixed it for us at no cost. The staff even stayed back beyond their closing time to make sure it happened. Highly recommend their services

I'm leaving for a trip to Reno this morning and found a nail in my tire. I called and Kayla R has excellent customer service!! I just want to thank her for getting me in right away and also let her know I appreciate her kindness!!

Not bad for tires but upon getting ready to get my bill was told from the tech that my rear brakes were almost metal on metal and needed to be done real soon and handed me a estimate of $ 788.00 .
O asked why I was not told when they were doing new tire so I could look .
Was told I was not allowed in the shop .
So upon getting home I ordered everything for the rear brakes from rock auto for $170.00 and I mean everything .
Well 2 weeks later upon doing the rear brakes i find out that I probably have 2-3 months if not more brakes life left .
Les schwab is good for tires.
But I highly doubt their ethics on other labor and materials $788.00 versus $170.00 big difference and a little disappointed in some of your practices .

Ok Scott no way to respond to your comment I hate to say it but im not stupid person I know quit a bit and there was at least a 1/4 inch of pads left i am very mechanically inclined and work on heavy equipment a nd yes I know about metal to metal .
But why would you replace calipers seems completely senseless unless you are that stupid and cant hear that and why not turn the rotors instead of replacing them as per the quote from your employee I understand customer service but there is a thing as going to far .
And your employee made it sound like it needed to done right now .
That is what gets me .
You are trying to defend your company I get it but ethics go a long way in this community sir .
Unless it was as bad as your employee said im just disappointed .
