I saw Doctor Darlene as a first time acupuncture patient and the experience could not have been any easier! I saw her for shoulder pain due to a rotator cuff issue and her treatment worked wonders. I cannot stress enough how thorough the treatment was and how pain free the appointments were.

Darlene is hands down the best. She is extremely kind, patient, and last but certainly not least, extremely knowledgeable. She has studied the intricacies of TCM, and it shows within her work. She is also honest and only does what she thinks will best serve the patient. Fair pricing as well too. She has helped a family member of mine in addition to myself, who said he that is eager to come back, and she helped his heart condition like most other modalities weren't able to, until now. I would highly recommend her clinic!

A truly wonderful experience with Anchor Acupuncture. A warm and welcoming environment, gorgeous, sumptuous treatment rooms with knowledgeable, friendly and experienced therapists. I initially booked for Dry Needling, but following an in-depth intake chat, Darlene recommended a slightly more comprehensive treatment to assist in my postoperative rotator cuff/bicep surgery. The entire experience was so relaxing and 3 days later, I can still feel the benefits. Highly recommend!

I went to Dr. Valletta for chronic neck pain. I received several treatments which dramatically improved my pain free sleep. She was through in her exam and clear in explaining how she was treating me and what to expect. It is very hard to find time for self care and she made it easy. Highly recommend her.

Incredible Blend of Western Medicine and Holistic Healing!

I cannot recommend Anchor Point Acupuncture and Dr. Darlene Valletta enough. One of the things that sets Dr. Valletta apart is her background—for years, she was a Primary Care Physician who practiced Western medicine before studying acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. It gives me such confidence knowing she has that "arsenal" of knowledge; she can speak to me in Western medical lingo that I understand, while treating me with homeopathic remedies and helping my body find the energy it needs to heal itself.

I originally came in for lower back and wrist pain, and Dr. Valletta used a technique called Electroacupuncture. For those who haven't tried it, this involves passing a very mild, pulsating electric current between the acupuncture needles. It essentially amplifies the healing effect by providing continuous stimulation to the muscles and nerves.

The results have been amazing—I feel great! I love adding this treatment to my routine for my whole well-being. Additionally, as someone in perimenopause, I know that having Dr. Valletta’s expertise in my corner will be a huge help during this transition. If you are looking for a practitioner who truly bridges the gap between modern science and traditional healing, go see her!

I had such an amazing experience at Anchor Point Acupuncture! I’m currently pregnant, and after my session, I felt completely relaxed — it was truly the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time. I woke up the next day feeling recharged and refreshed. Dr. Valletta approaches all appointments with care, compassion, extensive knowledge and a deep desire to help. She helps you know you are so supported and listened to. I came in having faced years of a chronic illness that other doctors could not help. New to acupuncture, I have been amazed at how she approaches a care plan by looking at my whole body and how interconnected each system is to each other. She carefully and expertly each week has worked to help alleviate symptoms I’ve had for years. I am now continuing to feel this peace, clarity and relief on a daily basis.
