He uses a range of treatment modalities, including spinal and joint injections, medication pump trials and management, stimulator trials and rehabilitation to help patients manage their pain and regain function. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Kosanovic served as an attending physician at Pain Management Centers of America, where he provided care for patients with short- and long-term pain using a range of interventional treatments. After earning his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Dr. Kosanovic completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York City. He continued his training and completed an interventional pain fellowship at Pain Management Centers of America. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kosanovic conducts research on the usage and efficacy of a variety of therapeutic interventions in relieving chronic pain. His work can be found in respected publications including Pain Physician.
