Avoid these apartments at all costs...The water is shut off almost every other week because they keep putting band-aids on the plumbing. Instead of actually fixing the problem the right way, it's cheaper to make it an inconvenience for their tenants. Definitely would not recommend anyone to live here.

Keeping my post short but there's a set of photos from a local guide VRM on here that are NOT AT ALL indicative of what the rest of the apartments look like.
The images in that review are all taken from the inside of a freshly renovated, pre decorated apartment that they show to people. They do not rent it out. Her images are a sham and have no connection to the reality of what you're renting.

If you are facing the front office the apartment in question is to the left in an isolated 8 apartment building where only about 4 of those apartments have any tennants in them. Even those four apartments beside the show one don't have the same quality as what's in those images.

When you rent here you are going to recieve outdated furnishings, chipping paint, a broken front door, cheap blinds and closet doors, ripping carpet, and peeling vinyl flooring. You will never see the quality that is shown in the showcase apartment.

I was thinking of renting here but damn. What a mess. Trashy looking around the whole complex. Mattresses , dishwashers , etc around dumpsters for more than a week not cleaned up . Walk ways nasty dirty, trash left outside people's doors, like the maintenance never walks the whole grounds and blows or pressure washes . No upkeep will definitely keep me away from renting here .

I lived here for about 3 years from 2015-2018, then moved back here mid-2024 from Chandler/Gilbert. Initially I rented a 2 bed/2 bath with a friend, but since I moved back in 2024, I’ve had a standard 1 bed/1 bath.

If you read through all these reviews, you’re probably thinking that these are dingy apartments with a ton of problems. I can’t speak for everyone’s experience, and I can sympathize with the residents who left here with only negative things to say, but at the end of the day, people really only leave reviews when they have something bad to say.

These buildings aren’t perfect. They’re old, and the issues that come with older properties arise from time to time. We do have water shut-offs in order to complete repairs, but the staff either lets us know 1-2 days in advance, or even more, or sends out an email immediately for an emergency repair. And honestly, the speed and compassion with which issues are handled by the maintenance and administration teams is one of my favorite things about living here. If you have a problem, like the dishwasher not working or, like I had, a large leak from upstairs, you cannot deny that the complex takes every issue very seriously and dispatches someone to help as soon as they can. And they aren’t “quick fixes” - the leak in my ceiling was repaired and the drywall replaced the next day.

The teams themselves are so personable and kind. The maintenance guys are super friendly, very considerate, and very professional. During the leak repair, they accidentally left my front door open, and one of the men immediately began running around outside looking for my cat in case she got out. She didn’t, thankfully, but it was very nice of him to take it seriously.

And the admin team? Wonderful. Responsive, accommodating as much as they can be, and respectful about giving notice about building-wide repairs or inspections. Any time I’ve needed to speak to them to address something, they are so willing to help and are nice about it, which not many administrators are. We had a large pest control measure taken recently, and they were very understanding and accommodating when it came to my disability getting in the way of that process. They also still sent someone to perform a treatment even though it was less intense.

These apartments aren’t $2500 luxury units with every possible amenity, but I don’t need them or expect them to be that. I chose this place twice because it’s both affordable and pleasant to live here. My neighbors are of all different backgrounds, but there’s still a wonderful sense of community. I feel safe and comfortable, and I know that any concerns I have will be taken seriously. This place feels like a home, not just an apartment. Even the $3000/month “luxury” apartment I rented in Gilbert didn’t feel like that.

In short: understand that these are older, fairly standard apartments with the issues that often occur in similar places, you get what you pay for, but that doesn’t mean you get nothing or worse than nothing. I pay what I can afford and I get the best I could ask for in that price range and more with the admin and maintenance teams. I’ll be here for as long as I can.
