I miss the old menu items but the quality of the food is still very good. I think the prices overall are high. Great cocktails, food and desserts.

Great food and drinks- small menu and DEFINITELY need a reservation! Bar has drinks and food. Expensive, delicious tasting- $20-40 plates. Lemon crème brûlée and Chocolate lava brownie were fabulous

Fantastic atmosphere & food!
I ordered the braised chicken and it was genuinely incredible. A lot of layered flavors, perfectly cooked chicken, great amount of veggies. The drinks were lovely, my favorite was the morning it has a great taste and has a slab of candied bacon.
Our server Madi was great. 10/10 service all around - super friendly, personable and came the perfect amount of times to our table and made sure we had everything we needed. Scott was great at getting us to our table and getting us all settled. Fantastic service all around
Really great restaurant, bar and distillery and I’m glad there’s a place like this in Peoria. It’s definitely worth a trip.

Great tour of the history of spirits in Peoria and there present process. Very informative and then at the end a spirit tasting experience. The gin was great as well as the wheat bourbon. Though the coffee liquor took the prize. Recommend staying after enjoying a cocktail and appetizer at the bar.

Very impressed with our first experience. We both enjoyed our drinks, Dragon's Breath (old fashioned) and Peppermint Martini. We also ordered the hummus and pita bread. It was very, very good. Then had ribeyes. Both were cooked perfectly medium and very good. One of the better steaks we've had in recent memory. Then had a couple of more drinks at the bar. The staff was friendly and attentive and the building is beautiful. We will be back for another date night soon.

Fantastic local distillery and bar/restaurant. The whiskeys pay respect to Peoria’s history as a whiskey Mecca, the craft cocktails are delightful seasonal selections, and the emphasis on local ingredients on the menu makes this a unique experience. Best burgers in town, too!

The tour at Blackband by Tate was excellently curated and an amazing deep-dive into Peoria’s rich Whiskey City history. The tasting lineup was wonderfully diverse, with standout bourbons, rye, whiskeys, gin, and even a delicious coffee liqueur. A fantastic experience from start to finish! This is such a wonderful experience right in our own city.

Our first time here and the food was amazingggg. We ordered blackband smash burgers, mocktail (wham jam) & chocolate mousse cake. Everything was too good. The service (Jonah was our server) was quick and food was fresh. We would definitely be coming back.

We were excited to dine at Blackband tonight Saturday 8/23/25. It was not the experience we are used to from past visits. Our first drinks at the bar took a little while longer to get but were worth it. We had reservations at 6:15 and were seated promptly. That was when things changed. We were seated for a good bit of time before being waited on. Once our server came to us we went ahead and ordered our meal at that time. The olives came out and were delicious, spinach and artichoke followed and also very good. It was probably around about 20-25 minutes before our first large plate came out, it was the steak kabobs. They were cold and tough, the rice was delicious and the only thing warm. The vegetables were also cold. We were hungry and gave the benefit of the doubt. We didn’t hear or see our server for at least another 30 minutes after we finished the first plate. It was another 15-20 after that before she came back and said the kitchen was running behind. Another 20 minutes goes by before we are told the are plating the food. Probably another 10 before it comes out. We had the cod tostadas. They were good, bit at that point we weren’t even hungry anymore from waiting so long.
Not sure if just an off night, I expected more for the price and past experiences. We were bit billed for the cod tostadas but still had to chase our server down for the bill. We were at our table for a little over 2 hours and we really one got to enjoy cold chewy steak. We watched a table of 10 be seated well after we ordered and enjoy their food as we sat waiting to be acknowledged. I am sure we will be back in time, but it will be a while before the sour taste of this experience has past.

Me and my fiancé went for our first time for a date night and we will definitely be back. The atmosphere was beautiful. The drinks were very delicious and I’m not a drink person but I found my absolute favorite! The flavors just blend so well together so definitely have to try the sunshine green dream! We first got the smash burger which was absolutely the most amazing burger and then ended up trying the grilled cheese. I was very skeptical about it but to my surprise it was absolutely delicious. I could have used more jam actually but that was just our opinion. But then the real star are those fries!!! They are out of this world and if you need a sauce the homemade ketchup and ranch are very good. A little pricey so we can’t go as often but definitely a great treat for a date night!

I brought my friend from St.Louis to Black Band Distillery for some locally made bourbon and local cocktails. My friend loved the house bourbon. I tried a pulp fiction cocktail. My drink was great
. We tried the Cajun wings with our drinks. The bar staff, (where we sat)were excellent. Our drinks were quick to be refilled and were professionally prepared.
Outstanding atmosphere in the building. We met some interesting people there also enjoying the bourbon and food. I will be returning soon.

Tara and I celebrated our anniversary at The Bar at BLACK BAND in Peoria last night. It was our first time visiting, but it won’t be our last!
The atmosphere was impressive, the service staff was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Even the runner who brought our dishes was able to detail every ingredient in each dish.
Our server Josie was attentive but not overbearing. Our every need was addressed immediately. We were seated near the kitchen, and had the pleasure of watching and hearing the kitchen staff at work. Tara and I could not stop smiling at how fantastic the evening was.
The food was like something out of a novel. Charcuterie, roasted Brussels Sprouts, deviled eggs, and crab cakes. Each bite perfectly balanced. The lemon in the deviled eggs was surprising, but welcome, and added a bright, fresh flavor to a simple dish. I’m not one for seafood, but Tara raved about the crab cakes, and they looked amazing to me.
Cocktails were balanced, flavorful, and the perfect complement to our meal.
When I say that the experience was outstanding, it’s a huge understatement. Go check it out!
