My family visited to see Toy Story 5 on Sunday evening, and overall we had a good experience. The theater was comfortable, and we enjoyed the movie.

The only issues we encountered were related to cleanliness and maintenance. One of our seats had fruit snacks stuck to it, so I had to clean it off before my child could sit down. Also, the women’s restroom was out of paper towels during our visit.

One thing I miss from the theater’s previous ownership is the rewards program. The former management offered a great loyalty program that made frequent visits even more enjoyable. I would love to see something similar brought back.

A little more attention to cleaning, restroom supplies, and customer rewards would make the experience even better. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and will likely return.

This place is disgusting. I don’t come often, but the last 2 or 3 times I’ve came it’s been gross and the staff is very unwelcoming.
The bathrooms are always trashed with toilet paper all over the floors and the trash over flowing. Stalls always seem to be out of toilet paper too.
Inside the theater, the seats are peeling and not clean. My clothes were sticking to the seats from whatever residue was not cleaned off. Plus the seat didn’t even recline. I asked for a refund and was told they don’t do refunds.
Don’t drop anything under the seats either because you’ll never find what you’re looking for through all of the trash they sweep underneath the seats.
Bugs are another issue. And it’s not just one little annoying bug that would come and go. It’s multiple all of the place and all around your seat.
This place is extremely overpriced anyways. I do not recommend wasting your money here. It’s not worth it!!

What happened! This place is trashed. Bathrooms are filthy half the toilets dont work. A/C is out There are 4 employees just standing at the ticket check in. Power went out right before the movie started. And apparently there's only one manager for everything. Been waiting for 20 minutes to get our money back which will probably be longer than that.

Showbiz Cinemas Edmond has become seriously disappointing. This used to be the theater in Edmond — comfortable, clean, and somewhere you actually looked forward to going. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case.

The seats are badly worn out and uncomfortable. Many of them feel collapsed and overdue for replacement. The theaters themselves were dirty overall, and the cup holders looked like they haven’t been properly cleaned in ages.

The bathrooms were the worst part of the experience. The smell of sewage was overwhelming, and the cleanliness was honestly unacceptable for a public entertainment venue. I’m genuinely surprised the Edmond or Oklahoma health department hasn’t stepped in to address the condition of the restrooms.

It’s frustrating because this place used to set the standard locally. Now it feels neglected and run down. Edmond deserves better.

We went for the Mandalorian and Grogu in SDX. The screen is IMAX huge/tall, with decent clarity (4k/8k) but the black level was mediocre at best - making dark scenes gray. Sound was pretty good, I noticed how wide the soundstage was. The theater seems to be ran by 3 people - refreshment cashiers and the ticket taker. Otherwise there is no one around anywhere. It was the 10pm Saturday showing - which should have been packed. The food is premade and stuck in warming cabinets for self serve. There’s absolutely no one behind the counter to order from, it’s almost like a hospital food court with far less food and even less lighting. The theaters are fully digital with no loading of projectors so I imagine literally no one is manning them. It felt like COVID quarantine with no one around. There were maybe 10 people in the massive theater with us. The arcade has maybe 20 games and half of them don’t work. So many were broken we couldn’t even spend all our points on our card - what a waste. The arcade snack bar wasn’t even open. The movie was decent but the overall experience compared to 1990s movies was depressing.
