Dr Bill is a miracle worker. A magician I tell him! I am also a body worker- a licensed Massage Therapist for 33 years and an esthetician. I have seen him on and off over the last eight years or so for different issues that I have had and every time he has magically fixed my problem. I can’t say enough! Whether he is muscle testing, using blocks to align my hips, using cupping, acupuncture, and of course chiropractic adjustments of many different kinds, Dr Bill knows what to do. Not to mention he is a a wonderful person - that helps. I will continue to see him on a regular basis to maintain my body as I age.

TREMENDOUS RELIEF
Dr. RICE is GOOD MAYBE THE BEST
I have received acupuncture literally hundreds of times and I have spent over 35 years learning Asian medicine and the acu-meridian theory.
I came to Dr. Rice almost at the end of my rope. I had an old helicopter crash while in the military at 1977 and it displaced a lot of my internal organs and the fascia has caused seizures and physical constraints over all over my body for my entire life. Taking pills won’t work and cranial sacral therapy was the only thing that kept it under control.
I came back to the US from Indonesia in 2022, because of the seizures and this is the first time I felt relief and some hope. I am seen by the VA and they have finally given me some therapy that works!
I HAVE EXPERIENCED TREMENDOUS RELIEF IN ONLY ONE WEEK, just three intense and powerful sessions.
There is still a lot of work left to do and I’m still in a lot of pain just I have hope for the first time in a long time
Thank you, Dr. Rice and I look forward to you helping myself get realigned and happy again
🙏

BEWARE! Dr. Bill Rice was/is very unprofessional and untrustworthy. I went to his office for acupuncture for 8 sessions (3 from a Groupon and 5 out of pocket) from January 2024 through February 2024. Acupuncture is supposed to be a relaxing treatment, isn’t it? During my sessions he was often talking VERY LOUDLY in person or on the phone with other patients and once he was even scheduling a golf outing on the phone. Not very relaxing. Another time I was getting treatment in one of his treatment rooms and he just stayed in the room and was eating some loud snacks and typing away on the computer that was in the room. He was even making little comments to himself about some of what he was reading. Again, not very relaxing. In the end, I had 8 treatments with him and had little to no improvement.
That should have been the end of it, but it wasn’t… I never intended to write a review until I found out that I was paying $65 per treatment (which was his discounted rate for patients who were paying out of pocket without insurance) and without my knowledge he submitted the 5 non-Groupon visits to my insurance company. I just found this out in August 2024. The thing is that my insurance actually covers 10 sessions of acupuncture a year and the out of pocket expense that I would have to pay for the treatment was actually only $22.03 per visit. He has a contract with the insurance company that says that I can have 10 acupuncture treatments per year at the $22.03 discounted rate, and that I would have to pay whatever he decides to charge me after the 10 visits. I actually didn’t know this and that is my fault. But when he received the EOB (explanation of benefits) he never bothered to let me know about any of this, and why would he? Ethics maybe?
When I contacted him on August 15th he only agreed to partially refund me the overpaid expenses. He said that he spoke with my insurance company and that my copay was $35 and he only refunded me the $30 difference (per visit) and not the $42.97. I asked him for documentation stating this and he was not able to provide me with anything. When I spoke with the insurance company again they explained that I should have only paid $35 for the copay, but then after the EOB was processed, I should have received a refund from Dr. Rice for the difference ($12.97 per visit). The fact that he went behind my back and submitted these visits to the insurance company and then blatantly ignored the EOB is what really makes him unprofessional and untrustworthy. Why do you think he submitted the claims behind my back after I had already paid him what he said was his discounted rate for patients who were paying out of pocket without insurance? I have my opinions… He claimed it was in hopes of saving me money, but then when it was going to save me money, he never followed through. Photo of one of the EOB attached.

What an outstanding doctor and human being. He provides exceptional care and takes his time with his patients. I have never done acupuncture in my life and I was afraid, but I was extremely comfortable once I went to my first visit. Dr Rice is very thorough when it comes to the total care for his patients. Extremely knowledgeable, kind and personable.

I was referred to Dr Rice by my massage therapist for acupuncture. Been seeing him about 3 months getting acupuncture as well as chiropractic adjustments. I'm taken in as soon as I arrive for my scheduled appointment and Dr Rice comes in to start treatment within minutes if not immediately. Dr Rice is very personable and really listens! The office runs like clockwork, I receive text messages for my scheduled appointment making it easy to add to my calendar and the text reminders the day before too. And they are so conveniently located, immediately off the Northlake exit of I95. Highly recommended:-)
