He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark and a fellowship in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine at Penn Medicine in Philadelphia.From a young age, Dr. Tuan knew he wanted to help people in any way. "I was more of a hands-on learner; if I can see it, I can understand it, and medicine seemed to fill that niche," he says.Dr. Tuan's scope of practice includes any and all orthopedic needs. In particular, through his sports medicine background, he specializes in treating a lot of knee and shoulder issues.
