I do not recommend this bank at all. I spent over an hour of my time talking to a banker about my personal finances and hardships. I was sold on a loan to help pay off my credit cards. I felt really good after talking to my banker and doing my own research. I started to see a light at the end of the tunnel. I tried to contact my banker to begin the application process but was made to feel pressured into establishing an account and bringing money over. I feel tricked and would not have given up so much of my personal information if I knew it wasn't going to lead anywhere. They do not care about you unless you have money with them. Do not do business with this bank. I imagine thats why it's being bought out with its shady practices.

For 21 years, I've had 4 business accounts and a personal account at the Torrance, CA location. The service and professionalism of the staff has been exemplary over the years, especially currently. I wish to thank each one there for always recognizing me as a person, and not merely a number, which I have experienced over the years at other banks. It may seem trivial, but it is special to be called by my name and always treated so well. Again, thank you.

I started banking with Bay Cities National Bank in Redondo Beach in 1985 when I needed a professional loan to open a medical office. Bay Cities became Opus Bank which then became Pacific Premier. I've stayed with this organization because representatives (managers and tellers, alike) have always been professional and personable. I use this branch in Torrance as well as the branch in Riviera Village in Redondo Beach. Andrew Lesser, M.D.

I highly recommend Pacific Premier Bank, Torrance team
I've been a loyal customer for several years, and they have always treated me with professionalism and respect.
They know me by name, and they have always provided me with a personalized service, unlike the big banks.
They also provide information about their financial products that are relevant to my personal and business needs.

The staff at this location were horrible. I tried cashing a check there and it seemed as if the manager was too appearance obsessed (poser) and condescending. Meanwhile, a "senior" banker.. I had trouble taking seriously because she looked like a teenager and was unprofessional because she didn't know how to verify the identity of someone on the payroll account. I couldn't get my paycheck cashed there after an hour and so I gave up to go to the El Segundo office where they were polite, professional and knowledgeable. Skip this location.
