At the end of my appointment, the receptionist told me to leave a 5 star review, which I declined. I did not feel listened to at all during my initial appointment with Joyce, and felt that she was trying to push more medications onto me. She did not believe me when I said that I had a bad reaction to a higher dose of a medication because “it’s not supposed to do that” and said that she would increase my dose. This place is unlike anywhere else I’ve gone for treatment. The doctor herself doesn’t answer my messages on the patient portal, instead it is a receptionist who does all of that. It didn’t feel like they actually cared about me, so I decided to not continue with my care here.

I’ve had a great experience with this practice! I transferred my care to them after having difficulties with another practice last year, and they have taken great care of me. The entire team is welcoming and kind, very responsive, and easy to contact. The provider is incredibly knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Can’t recommend Essential Mind enough!

I have been working with Joyce for a few months. She's really kind and professional and listens really well. I was nervous with all the sudden changes and possible diagnosis but I couldn't have asked for a more patient and helpful experience. I feel better and its been a wholistic and life changing time!! Met with the doctor and she is ABSOLUTELY amazing. I feel like we have a very complex case with our son and she made all the puzzle pieces feel like they came together. I know we will be using her going forward.

Joyce AIYEOJENKU was amazing! 10/10 recommend. She listening to all my issues/concerns and really made me feel seen and understood. I felt very hopeful at the end of the session
