Dr. Mundy serves on several national committees promoting research in plastic surgery through the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Plastic Surgery Foundation. Her personal research interests focus on patient-centered care, including clinical trials research and patient-reported outcome instrument development. Her research has been published in major peer-reviewed scientific journals and presented at national meetings. Dr. Mundy received her medical degree from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed her residency in reconstructive plastic surgery at Duke University. She also completed her fellowship in microsurgery and extremity reconstruction at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland.
