In palliative care, we maximize a person’s potential, despite the chronic illness.” “My goal is to provide more support for people who would qualify for palliative care so that their quality of life is enhanced.” Calling herself a natural-born helper, Lindsay says she calls on personal experience when caring for patients. “I have learned ways to work with patients and their families, as well as what not to do. My goal is to ensure that my patients and their families feel heard, valued and supported.
