I had Heartland out just last week for my annual air‑conditioning service. I was told it was too cold to test whether the system was operating at full capacity and that I should schedule another appointment once the weather warmed up. I did exactly that and booked a visit for early June.

One week later, my air conditioner is now frozen up and not working. I have a service agreement, so I called after‑hours. I was told it is “most likely a leak,” but that it is against company policy to come out after hours to check for leaks — and this was at only 5:30 PM. I was told to call back and that maybe someone could come tomorrow.

To make matters worse, when my husband went downstairs to look at the system, he found that the technician had removed a panel, left the screws lying there, and didn’t reinstall the panel correctly.

What is the point of paying for maintenance if this is the result?

I was having problems with my furnace over the weekend. Called Heartland first thing Monday morning. They were out before 10 AM for service. My Furnace is 17 years old, time for a new one. They were able to put my new furnace in Tuesday morning, quick and efficient. The service technicians were excellent.
