I'd give boarding and day care five stars. Those services are WONDERFUL. Grooming, however, was awful. I have two small dogs, 17 pounds. Short hair male needed a bath and nail trim. Longer hair female needed a bath, cut, and nail trim. She looks TERRIBLE!!! Choppy cut, her beautiful shiny hair is gone, all that's left is the undercoat. Her cute ears are cut way short. Her beautiful tail is choppy. "That's $138, would you like to leave a tip?" Um, for a bath and horrible cut? NO, absolutely not. REPLY TO OWNER'S COMMENT: Well, you have my name and my number at Dogtopia. If you are truly interested in talking to me, you can call me. Also, my dogs are there right now for day care. Take a look at Brandy's crappy hair cut.

Apollo is a difficult dog to groom but he seems to do better without his masters. They said he did great and he came home smelling great! Just remember to look for their collar, they didn't give it back and i didn't realize it til the next day

Emailed the facility & scheduled a tour for our dog however we couldn't take him along because we didn't have his complete vacation records with us. We knew he needed those to stay there but not just for the tour. The email said he needed the vaccinations but it didn't say we had to have them in hand so we didn't know to bring them. When I explained it would have been nice if the email was more clear, the response should have been that they would keep that in mind for the next person but instead I was told "our emails are clear." From the email: We do require Bordetella, Distemper, and Rabies. As well as any dog being spayed/neutered past the age of 7 months. Now if after that it had said something like this: please bring those with you. We would have brought the records. Additionally, the communication regarding the tour could have been better. We were told without the records we couldn't go on the tour, but in reality we could have done the tour without our dog. By the time this was mentioned we had already been there for at least 20 minutes and were just disappointed with the experience. Not a great first impression. I feel like for the most part they care about the animals because they all loved on our dog so no complaints there. I just think they could work on their communication and maybe make an email template that is more clear to use for new clients who may not have the knowledge about bringing their dog & records to a daycare.

Melissa and her entire crew - Haven, Megan and the entire staff are so wonderful. I recently boarded my dogs and had not done so in over a year. I was very anxious about doing so, but once I met Melissa and the staff, I was completely at ease. They took wonderful care of my dogs, let me know when my girl was not eating and explored options to encourage her (which worked), they never minded that I called 2 times a day to check on them. Their cameras are great to allow you to monitor your dogs and they even have a camera in the area outdoors where dogs go out to play, it is a very clean facility and you can really tell the staff takes tremendous pride in what they do. I heartily recommend Dogtopia - Millard!

Dogtopia - Millard has been just so awesome since day 1 of taking our puppy there! They have been flexible, very communicative if anything were to happen during the day, and they really show how much they care about the dogs. The membership prices simply cannot be beat with the perks compared to any other daycare in our close vicinity. He is always so happy and excited to go! And definitely a tired happy pup when he comes home. They have been super helpful when needing to take oral medications. If people are looking for daycare for their dogs, I highly recommend Dogtopia!

We have been using Dogtopia for daycare and grooming services for about 6 years or so for our two dogs. The staff is friendly and professional, and we could not be happier with the service provided.

I have heard some clients have unfavorably reviewed Dogtopia's services due to kennel cough issues. On rare occasions Dogtopia, like every other doggy daycare, has had its issues with kennel cough. Our son, who is a veterinarian, told us that vaccines are not 100% effective (sound familiar?). A quick Google search can verify this information. I have personally seen dogs separated from the rest of the dogs and/or asked to have their owner not bring in their dog until adequate time has elapsed and the dog no longer shows symptoms. I have also seen staff turn away clients at the door who failed to provide vaccine records required for all dogs. I am grateful the staff does not cut corners and insists on following their policies. I would recommend Dogtopia to any of my friends looking for doggy daycare services in Millard and LaVista.
