I was at a Funeral at your establishment on June 12/26 for Latoya Noble and it was beautiful. One of your staff stood out I must say exceptionally, her name is Kayla. I am an elderly woman and after the service I was outside sitting on the edge of one of the flower pot waiting for my accessor ride which took forever to arrive. Kayla saw me and she was very assertive and kind, she me I would like a chair to sit and I said yes, she brought me a chair outside to sit on and it was a blessing because I have a bad back. We interact for a bit and I have to say Kayla is the nicest person I have met I. A long time. Kayla went beyond the call of her duty to help patron and think she’s a great asset to your establishment, and because of her I will recommend your establishment far and wide.

Anthony and his team were amazing. He handled every detail and anything unexpected with calm and skill. We are living in Florida and my MIL wanted to be buried with her husband in Queens. D'Angelo Funeral Home provided my family with peace of mind during a difficult time. From the moment we walked in, the Funeral Director, Anthony, and his staff showed us compassion and respect throughout the entire process—from planning the arrangements to the burial service.

The last thing you want to deal with while mourning is predatory and transactional behavior. My family and I visited several funeral homes in Brooklyn and Queens, and from our first interaction with the staff at D'Angelo's, we knew this was where we would hold my grandmother's service.

The location is convenient for guests traveling by car or public transportation, and the valet parking was a huge plus since we had family and friends coming from outside of NYC. We especially appreciated having the entire space dedicated to our loved one's viewing service, rather than sharing the facility with multiple chapels like other funeral homes.

We highly recommend D'Angelo's Funeral Home.

In January 2026, my family experienced the sudden loss of my dad days before a huge snowstorm. Anthony and his team at D’Angelo Funeral Home II in Maspeth, provided excellent customer service and against all odds (12+ inches of snow), their staff gave my father a beautiful and memorable service.

One detail that meant a lot to me: I told Anthony that my dad was a huge New York Mets fan and at the viewing he made the lights above the casket blue and orange. My family and I were very touched by the attention to detail.

Anthony and each staff member are kind, professional, compassionate, organized, and very good at communicating. They patiently and diligently answered any questions that arose and were very accommodating. The entire staff wonderfully handled all of the hurdles thrown at them during the planning process from start to finish.

I recently buried my precious mother. I was so fortunate that I chose to have my mom’s wake at D’Angelo Funeral Home II. During this difficult time, Anthony was my rock. He treated me like family and never seemed like it was a business transaction. Checked on our family the entire time and always was ready to do whatever we needed done. This place was where we held the funeral service for my aunt, and I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful and peaceful venue to celebrate her life.
