This is my new go-to spot when I am traveling for work. The hotel is beautifully decorated, and the staff are so warm and welcoming. I always experience really great service when I stay! Recently, I had an issue where a weird fluke happened with the booking agency and the staff was so helpful in getting my issue resolved promptly (thank you Michaela and Manager David for your wonderful customer service!). The location is central to Paseo Robles, Cambria and beautiful winery's very close by (I recommend Niner). They have a cute outdoor area with firepits, jacuzzi, pool, gym and restaurant that serves the best breakfast! The menu is simple but with delicious options. If you enjoy walking, they are right next to a neighborhood that has beautiful farm and ranch style houses with lots of farm animals (including outrages) that you can walk through -- it's absolutely beautiful!

We were given a handicap room that had no place to put our stuff on the sink or hang a towel near the shower. No towel rods, no hooks, nothing. The bathtub already has a chip and rust near the handicap seat. We changed rooms after the first night and were much happier with the standard room. The lighting in the bathroom absolutely sucks though. It's pretty much a hair above twilight. Bring a makeup mirror if you need to get ready for anything. The food was okay but the dinning service was was meh. They got a few things on our order wrong, food and drinks. (not a complex order) But the location was good and the rooms were clean. The beds were pretty comfortable as well.

What a surprise! This hotel is the best. I cant wait to come back!! Opened last year, great location, clean, room was large. After hiking and exploring all day, we came back and to swim in the heated pool. We didnt try the restaurant, but plan to next time.

Cambria is easily one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at in a long time. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness throughout the entire property was outstanding, it’s clear they take great pride in maintaining a fresh, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Every space, from the rooms to the common areas, felt spotless and well cared for.

The level of service was just as impressive. The staff was consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to Vance, who helped us during check-in, he was phenomenal. He took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly, made sure we felt comfortable, and helped us get fully settled in without any stress. His professionalism and kindness really set the tone for the rest of our stay.

The only downside I would say is that the location is a few exits from shopping. It seems that Templeton is currently being developed but the hotel is 5-10 minutes from shopping/restaurants.

Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to others looking for a high-quality, relaxing hotel stay.

This hotel was over the top!! Beautiful rooms, clean, nicely decorated with tons of amenities. Black out curtains, bathroom light comes on when you walk in. Very large room. Can't say enough, staff were wonderful. Will definitely be back!!!!!

💯 Spacious rooms and attention to detail. Very friendly and polite service at the front desk. He also went out of his way to get me the best price for my situation and duration. No complaints from me!! 3 floor's with pool,spa, bonfire pit with multiple seats around it! 24 hour fitness center. Full bar and in-house cook for breakfast, lunch and dinner 🤙🏼

Lovely new hotel, thoughtfully designed, spacious and airy concept from the reception/lounge/restaurant/bar areas to tastefully appointed rooms and bathrooms. There's a outdoor heated pool in the courtyard with lounge area adding a cool vibe. Fabulous mattress and bedding, great coffee & tea. Sparkling clean. Located conveniently off the highway only a 5 minutes drive from Paso Robles, along free charging stations were a plus. The cherry on the cake, was the exceptional staff, friendly, professional. The hotel is really the best kept secret...

What a beautiful, clean, and well-designed hotel. Everything is done properly. The food is delicious, and at night they have plenty of staff. But breakfast is another story.

Many guests end up giving up and leaving in the morning because there simply aren’t enough waiters or waitresses. On our first morning, it took exactly one hour to be served breakfast. Today, it isn’t much better.

It’s disappointing that a hotel built so beautifully, with such attention to detail, is missing the most basic detail: proper food service at breakfast. This is not the staff’s fault — they just don’t have enough manpower.
We will try it again next time we are in this area, to give them another chance.

The staff at this hotel are all very welcoming and upbeat. It was a real pleasure to interact with everyone from the front desk to the restaurant. Rooms are very nice and new. Pool area looked great but didn’t experience since it was raining. The gym has good equipment and was not crowded. The restaurant has a nice selection of house made and made to order items. All in all a great stay. There was a Travelzoo deal that also made this an exceptional value.

Only one way in, and only a right turn to exit parking lot. Had issue with my phone and mini fridge. Phone never resolved, mini fridge issue-they wanted to do more "testing", ignoring the fact I was late to an appointment due to waiting for maintenance and No, I didn't want them in my room while I was away.

My husband and I had to unexpectedly go to the hospital to see my Mom who had a stroke from Phoenix Arizona and we looked at other hotels but chose this one because it was right next door. It's beautiful and staff is friendly and they have a restaurant inside that has really great food and friendly staff also. Room was beautiful and spacious and the bed was very comfortable! I highly recommend this hotel!

Really nice hotel, especially for the price. The staff is wonderful, the food and cocktails are delicious and the rooms are clean, roomy and very comfortable. It is also located and has easy access to the 101. Whether you want to go to Paso Robles, Atascadero, Morro Bay, Cambria or just hang out in Templeton...this is the place to stay!

Gross hygiene standards and appalling customer service. I found a visibly filthy, unsanitized toilet at check-in past midnight after a long drive and had to clean up the gross mess left by previous guests, including poop and period stains. Despite reporting it with photos, management never responded.

At checkout the next day, the front desk staff dismissed the issue completely with absolutely no apology, no investigation, and no assurance of improved standards. Instead, she only mentioned waiving a $10 parking fee, presented in a tone as if I should be thankful. At first I was so confused because I couldn’t understand how a dirty toilet connected to parking, and when I realized the $10 waiver was their so-called resolution, I felt nothing but insulted and belittled.

The hotel took zero responsibility and told me to contact Expedia if I wasn’t happy, which is absurd since Expedia has no responsibility for the hotel’s failure to provide a sanitary room.

Missing the most basic sanitary requirement raises serious concerns about the overall hygiene standards of this hotel, and the lack of ownership makes it even worse. Other reviews confirm this is not an exception but a concerning consistent pattern.

Avoid at all costs, unless you are fine cleaning other guests’ poop and period stains in exchange for a $10 parking waiver.

We loved everything about this hotel. Our room was spacious and clean with nice decor and a very well decorated bathroom. Everything is very modern. We loved the pool which was large and a good temperature and Hot tub was hot and very bubbly. Everyone who works here was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back when we pass this way again.

First, it's a beautiful hotel, just opened up. Nice decor.
A couple of kinks to work out needed.
Not a fan of $10 daily parking fee. Why? We're out in the highway..
No free Breakfast.
Shower water pressure too low.
Television reception is annoying. Cuts out regularly or is digitized.
