They make you feel welcomed and comfortable at each visit. Her quality of work is also excellent. She discusses the plan of care with you and ensures she answers all of your questions. I've been a patient of Dr. Jen since December and since then, her team has always been accommodating to my work schedule. As a healthcare worker myself, it's hard to leave work and or arrive to work late. It's not often you find offices that are kind and understanding when it comes to scheduling and I appreciate the 'jenuine' effort!!! She and her team are simply the best!!!

Jenuine Smiles is an excellent orthodontic center. Dr. Jen and her staff are always smiling and welcoming to patients and their families. Dr. Jen took over for my daughter’s previous orthodontist and has been taking care of my daughter’s braces journey. My daughter’s teeth are so straight and she has a beautiful smile. The scheduling and follow-ups are excellent and they send reminders. I also enjoy going to Dr. Jen’s office to see pictures of her dog and all the decorations. This review is long overdue! I recommend coming here. You will not be disappointed! Everyone is nice, knowledgeable and very helpful. My daughter needed needed retainers. Dr. Jen, her brother, and everyone else at the office are so kind and patient!! Before my initial consultation with her I had tried one other orthodontist who rushed me and my parents, gave cryptic descriptions of “polishing down” my teeth, and low-key mansplained. None of that with Dr. Jen!! She was super patient with me and my mom, and explained anything we had questions about, but also didn’t sugarcoat anything. Such a safe and warm space, and the best treatment ofc. I had such a good experience and would recommend to any of my friends ❤️❤️

I had a great experience at Dr. Jen Orthodontist. The staff were super kind and welcoming, and Dr. Jen took the time to explain everything clearly, which really helped ease my nerves. As an adult patient, it can be difficult to find an orthodontist. Because the majority of their patients are children, some doctors struggle with patients having personal autonomy. Dr. Jen was my FIFTH consultation. Even though I did see one other provider I was happy with, I really wanted to do my due diligence since this is also the FIFTH time I’m doing braces or Invisalign (PSA to wear your retainers!!!).
Allison, at the front desk, was so pleasant and I didn’t wait past my appointment time. Henry was also so kind. They were the first office that did a comprehensive exam-front and profile X-rays, photos, scans, and physical exam. Dr. Jen was very thorough and explained the why behind all of her whats in a way that was easy to understand without telling me how smart she was and the school she went to (yes, this happened elsewhere). She was contemplating treatment plans even after her initial assessment until she came up with something that would achieve the desired result, while keeping my expectations realistic and doing what is clinically important so I maintain the health of my teeth. Jenuine Smiles is the perfect balance of state of the art and personal touch. Even if you think you’re set, please consult with her before you decide.

I just completed my 1.5-year Invisalign treatment with Dr. Jenn, and I'm thrilled with both the outcome and the entire experience. Even at my final appointment, I was pleasantly surprised that she uses state-of-the-art 3D printing to make retainers ready for same-day pickup. Incredible!

This was actually my second Invisalign treatment, so I knew what to expect. After consulting a few orthodontists in the area, I chose Dr. Jenn because of her exceptional thoroughness during the free consultation and follow-up visit. She clearly spent time studying my case and walked me through how my treatment would progress step by step. Dr. Jenn is very good at explaining everything in plain language without using jargon. Everything was transparent, detailed, and tailored, not a cookie-cutter approach. The 1.5 years of treatment validated my decision. My teeth moved exactly as Dr. Jenn predicted. She staged the treatment carefully and made refinements as needed to ensure optimal tooth movement. My bite is now perfect, and I feel so much more confident.

Each visit to her office was Jenuine pleasant. The office is modern, warm, and extremely well-organized. Every staff member is friendly and courteous. Henry, the office manager, is fantastic. He helped with insurance and logistics seamlessly. The technicians, Emi and Oscar, are both gentle and pay great attention to details. Alison the receptionist is sweet and efficient. I was actually a little sad knowing I wouldn't be seeing them every six weeks anymore. That's how great they are!

If you are considering Invisalign or clear retainers in Torrance or the South Bay, I highly recommend Dr. Jenn. You will receive truly personalized treatment.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Jen and her staff. She is truly one of the best doctors I’ve ever worked with. She takes her time, explains everything clearly, and JENuinely (hehe) cares about her patients and their goals. Her staff is warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. I always feel comfortable and taken care of from the moment I walk in and have never waited more than a minute before I've been taken back.

My teeth have shifted a lot in adulthood since I never wore my retainers as a teen. My results are better than I ever imagined and I saw differences very early on in treatment. I had few consultations over the phone and 2 in-person consultations about Invisalign before choosing Dr. Jen's office. While I don't regret my decision, I'd recommend for consistent customer service as that's what I found was lacking.

I didn't have significant gaps in my teeth prior to Invisalign so I had anticipated for about or less than a year of treatment. After consultation, I was told about 12-13 months, depending on how consistent I was able to keep my invisalign on. I followed the instruction to the T, and I was fine with the results at the end of the one year mark. Because of moving out of state, I had to end the treatment about a month early, which I was fine with, and they asked me to sign a form about not having issues with treatment ending early.

Few issues:
1. When removing the anchors (or whatever they're called), it was SO sloppy! I was bleeding in three different places in my gums after it was basically shaved off of my teeth, but they didn't let me know the day-of. As I was driving home, my gums and teeth were stinging. After I got home, I checked my mirror, and there were small cuts all over my gums from the sloppy job they did. It wouldn't have been as big of a deal if they had notified me prior or even after saying something like "sorry that we cut your gums while removing the anchors". I was pretty pissed, but thankfully, it healed with a week.

2. Henry, during consultation, mentioned that he could get me an extra retainer once I finished, which I said thanks. When I finished my treatment, he didn't say a word, and when I had asked about the extra retainer he'd mentioned, he looked at me with a blank face and quoted the amount. Don't make false promises that you're not going to keep!

3. I can't speak for any other ortho office since this is the only one I utilized, but the retainers are SO CHEAP! The aligners felt so much sturdier than the retainer itself, which is baffling. I had mine for less than 3 months when it snapped in half while wiping it with a towel. I called to see if they can mail me a new bottom retainer, they said to find a local ortho with the mold they gave me. It felt like once you're done, they don't care.

Prior to choosing this office, there weren't many review of Dr. Jen's office as it was pretty new. I gave it a chance since I wanted to support other women POC doctors, but I definitely won't be returning since I've moved and from this experience.

We have been with Dr Jen and her friendly staff for more than 3 years now . Dr Jen is extremely skilled. My son’s orthodontic outcome was excellent. He has a beautiful smile now . My daughter is under her care too. Ms. Alison , who takes care of the front desk adds a lot to this clinic. We always feel like visiting family when we go there. I had a great experience at Jenuine Smiles Orthodontics with Dr. Jen and her team. I went to 3 consults with different orthodontists in Torrance but Henry’s helpfulness solidified my decision to work with Dr. Jen. I initially started my Invisalign treatment, but I found it challenging to keep up with the routine due to my busy lifestyle. Dr. Jen was very understanding and supportive. She took the time to listen to my situation and gave me the option to switching to braces. Which I’m grateful for.

I ended up being in braces for just six months, and I’m extremely happy with the results. Throughout the entire process, Dr Jen and her team was kind, patient, and always gave clear instructions about my treatment plan. Her attention to detail and genuine care made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. She’s a great doctor but most importantly a caring and compassionate person.
