Had breakfast at Emma's and it was absolutely delicious! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Jeremy was our waiter and provided exceptional service—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better.
If you're looking for a great breakfast spot in Toronto, this is definitely the place to come. Amazing food, great atmosphere, and top-notch service. 10/10, highly recommend!

Delicious!!!! We came here on a Saturday morning ~11am and waited for ~40 mins. Definitely worth the wait! Everything is so yummy especially the cinnamon and blueberry pancakes! So good!! The waiter is also so nice and welcoming!

We had such a great experience at Emma’s Country Kitchen! The service was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome from start to finish. Greg was our server, and he truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.
The food was just as impressive. We ordered The Classic with scrambled eggs, grilled tomato, buttermilk biscuit, and greens—simple and done really well. The Belt Buster (we tried two versions!) was a standout: sunny side up eggs with bacon, baked beans, buttermilk biscuit, and cinnamon pancakes, and another with sausage and fruit instead—both were hearty, flavorful, and super satisfying.
We also had Emma’s BLT on rye with an added egg, which was delicious and perfectly put together. And the Lazy Daisy oatmeal cake was the perfect sweet finish—so good!
Everything came out fresh and full of flavor. Between Greg’s incredible service and the quality of the food, we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend for a cozy, satisfying breakfast!

It had been a while since my last visit, and I was reminded right away why this place stands out. The service is incredibly warm and personable—something you don’t often come across in Toronto.
The biscuits were just average for my taste, but the home fries were excellent. The eggs Benedict could have used a bit more hollandaise—something I’m sure they would have happily provided if I’d asked, but I didn’t.
The highlight of the breakfast was the special menu collaboration with Sanagan Meat Locker. The savory cornbread pancakes were outstanding—served hot with crispy edges, layered with pimento cheese, and topped with butter and honey. Paired with the blueberry sausage from Sanagan, it was an unforgettable combination.
I really loved this collaboration with Emma—it was creative, comforting, and absolutely delicious.

Heyhey :) I just wished to find the best pancakes 🥞 in town to complete my travel and I think I’ve made it! A dream between pancakes and cinnamon buns! Outstanding! :D
And! When you travel, you will always meet nice and lovely people, but this crew is really more than that. They share a smile that touches your heart while they are serving you. Very obliging and polite - I was there with all my luggage (on my way to the airport) and they helped me carry it in without hesitation. All of that makes the waiting for a free table absolutely worth it! ♥️

This was a fantastic place for a Sunday brunch with my brother. The staff were so friendly. It was packed with a huge waiting list. The host was insanely busy yet he was friendly, cheerful, and helpful. He took our phone number and told us 30 mins and he would call when a table was ready. We went for a walk as it was a beautiful afternoon. When we went back about 25 mins later, there were 2 seats at the bar we were offered, and took. The service was great, again friendly and helpful. It was also really fast. The coffee was wonderful and breakfast was delicious. The scrambled eggs were amazing. We also grabbed some apple fritters which were arguably the best I have ever had! I highly recommend eating here. I will definitely come back!

This is a very popular and busy restaurant and for good reasons! Their food is delicious and tastes wholesome and homemade. Definitely get the pancakes with whipped citrus butter and blueberry jam. But everything we ordered tasted amazing. Staff were super friendly and efficient.
We had to wait about 20-25 mins for a table and we came on a weekend at around 10:30am. They seem used to wait lists though because their system is dialed.

Heard so much about their cinnamon pancakes that we had to try! We came around 2pm on a Sunday and waited about 5mins for a table, which is not bad. We shared the Beltbuster between 2 and it was enough for both of us. Pancakes were fluffy with a crispy exterior. The soft scrambled eggs were light and fluffy too. Sausage had a nice flavour; you can definitely tell it was made in house. Biscuit was soft and almost tasted like cornbread? Its on the salty/savory side if you like that. Service was friendly and the vibe was quite cozy. On our way out we were handed free fritters since they were closing, which was a nice surprise! Would definitely come back for the pancakes.

HANDS DOWN THE BEST PANCAKES OF MY ENTIRE LIFE OH MY GOD THANK YOU FOR SERVING SUCH AMAZING FOOD ! not only were they absolutely MASSIVE, they were so hot, fresh, and steaming — the brown butter melted perfectly, making them ooze with golden butteriness. the pancakes were perfectly thick, soft, and fluffy as well, with a really amazing crispiness on the edges.
the cinnamon bun pancakes were so divine, they were sweet but weren’t overpoweringly cinnamon-y, and THE TORCHED SUGAR (kind of like creme brulee) WAS SENSATIONAL.
the elvis pancakes were also an absolute SHOWSTOPPER , they were so unique. the banana flavour was deep, warm, and heavy (but also subtle), and the melted chocolate chips were so rich and sweet. i didn’t know how i felt about the bacon at first, but i enjoyed the sweet and savoury combination more and more every bite, especially how it paired with the nuts. the bacon was also super crispy and crunchy, a bit charred, smoky (cured?), and the chewier bits kind of reminded me of beef jerky.
i also had the privilege of eating their biscuits fresh out of the oven, and it was insanely good. it was warm, fluffy, and super duper soft like a cushion, with a buttery exterior. the citrus butter was quite zesty and the jam was sweet, but i honestly think i prefer savoury/salty butter with my biscuits.

I tried Emma’s Country Kitchen for the first time today! Although it was a 45 minute wait it was soooo worth it! It was amazing and the customer service was immaculate! The staff were very friendly, kind and responsive and were a great help in understanding the menu. I order the popular cinnamon pancakes (2) and it was more than enough for one. The pancake was delicious and the cinnamon butter on top just took it over the edge! If you have time to wait I would definitely recommend this restaurant I can’t wait to come back.

Needing a breakfast place on a Sunday we looked up Emma's Country Kitchen. This small local breakfast /lunch eatery is busy, friendly and comfortable all at the same time. The servings are the perfect size...not to big or small. Service is very friendly, engaging with a personal feel. Items for the breakfast menu cover all bases but some have a slight twist. Example: Emma's Benny comes over a breakfast biscuit (which doesn't work, as a biscuit breaks all over and you can't pick up a fork full of egg & bacon). Pricing is in the mid to high range ($50 for 2 ppl breakfast) but, its only open four days a week. The food is good you won't be disappointed although there is better.

The experience to Emma’s is amazing. My friend and I ordered the belbuster combo, including three scrambled eggs, sausage, fries and most recommended cinnamon pancake. The portion is good for two people and the taste is good. Also thank Lisa for amazing service.

This was my first visit and it did not disappoint! We ordered the Pancake Party Pack with a side of sausage and bacon—absolutely 10/10. Our server, Flora, was so welcoming, friendly, and patient with all my questions. She truly made the experience even better. There was a bit of a wait to be seated, but the food and service were completely worth it!
