He performs advanced electrophysiology studies and catheter ablation procedures, manages pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), and specializes in helping children safely return to their normal activities with the most effective and minimally invasive treatments available.As Director of Pediatric Electrophysiology and Medical Director of the Pediatric Exercise Laboratory at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital, Dr. Liberman leads programs dedicated to improving the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders in children. He has helped advance the field through innovative research, including studies of inherited arrhythmias, sudden cardiac death prevention, catheter ablation, and implantable cardiac devices. His work has contributed to national and international guidelines and has improved the care of children with heart rhythm disorders around the world.In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Liberman is a Professor of Pediatrics at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and is deeply committed to education and mentorship.
