Looking for eave trough down pipe, Home Depot on Regent, On-line inventory showed 14, drove into town and checked store, Zero on shelf. Clerk didn't why inventory was out of date or when any material would be in. Couple of weeks later checked on line and it showed 48 in stock. Couple of days later, went to store again and again Zero on shelf. Area clerk could care less that I had driven into town twice for this item and couldn't be bothered checking in back, stating was probably still in the truck. Sourced the material at another supplier, that was concerned about their customers. Had the material and was quite a bit cheaper than Home Depot. Also found out they carry roofing and siding materials as well. They will get my business and recommendations in the future.

To finalize our colour selection for a small project, we asked for some input from one of the paint department employees. Melissa was absolutely wonderful. She patiently listened to our redecorating plans, examined the print we planned to hang on our newly painted wall, immediately saw undertones that were foreign to us, and quickly offered a selection of complementary colours. Melissa is pleasant, knowledgeable, and has a great artistic eye. We're so pleased with the final result. Thank-you, Melissa.

I recently made several visits to Home Depot and everyone I encountered there were helpful and amazing. There were so many staff I liked I could not name them all. I also got two installations with a few hiccups because they are human and humans are not pertect. They also wanted to give me free temporary blinds but I refused because if everyone took them up on it the place would go broke. These bad reviews I am reading are just plain mean and evil. I am a strong believer that there are bad customers and they seem to be them. Shame on all the people that spread negativity. Do they not have a life. If you don't have nothing nice to say you should say nothing at all. All I know I love this store and all the people that work there. If you have a conscience I would take these reviews off and go enjoy your life positively

This store is by far the worst in winnipeg and the above mention of the new store manager being a good thing for this location is totally outrageous! In fact it's he exact opposite! This was once the flagship of service in Winnipeg however the last two years have been nothing but downhill for this store. My wife and I use this location for quick pick ups but large purchases are simply handled at either Leila or st. Vital. We once loaded 40 sheets of osb without one associate offering us help. I could go on. Gary is a condescending man with zero personality and is the last thing any intelligent decision makers within HD would want at the helm of an entire store! I was just in their two days before Christmas and the store was empty! The entire KP SHOPPING centre area was jammed with cars, every store stacked with people! I wondered if it actually had something to do with the holiday but alas, we hopped over to Rona only to find it bustling with shoppers. Seems the Tcona area has had it's fill of Gary and his ability to run a once great shopping experience right into the ground. I've spent tens of thousands in recent years at HD renoing two houses however because of this location, I've found myself exploring new options. McMunn&Yates is a very nice alternative with way better staff!

I recently purchase blinds for my whole home. Linda provided me with fantastic service, very knowledgable on all her products and the most effeciant and proffesional sales person I have encountered in a long time.Home depot should realize what a valuable employee they have in that dept.

During a recent visit to the store to buy 10 gallons of paint for our office, we were served by a very helpful and knowledgable young lady named Brandee. We found her to be honest about out product selection, helpful in her suggestions and provided us with exceptional customer service. We would certainly come back to her for future needs in the paint department as she seemed to know her job very well and how to satisfy a customer purchase.
