The staff was honest, communicative, and kept me updated the entire time. The work was done on time and the quality was outstanding — my vehicle looks better than it did before the damage. 3 Months ago I had just finished a total restoration of my Classic 1976 Toyota FJ40. Then, while traveling in north Springfield was hit by a large Buck deer. The deer hit the drivers side door then rolled through the front window.. I luckily was not hurt and pulled over to look at the damage. I was devastated since I had just finished the restoration. I called several local auto body shops in Springfield but was told since it was a classic vintage vehicle they would have to pass on the repair. Luckily, one of the shops recommended Ken at “Crash Magic Extreme Autobody”. When I called Ken he said that he could handle the repair. As you can guess, the drivers door and the front windshield was totaled with multiple dents and antler scrapes all along the hood and drivers side. Ken found a replacement door, custom cut the front windshield, repaired all dents and scrapes, plus blended the paint which made all repairs a perfect match.

I recommend “Crash Magic Extreme Autobody” to and classic vintage collector for all Autobody repairs. Ken and his staff are meticulous, through and honest. Rest assured if your classic car or daily driver needs work, you can trust Ken and his staff to take care of you and get you back on the road.

Crash magic has done excellent work for me twice now. I don't usually take the time to leave reviews but I just picked my second vehicle up from them in the span of one year's time. Not only did they do an excellent job on my collision repair they also did top notch work on a custom job for me as well. They're fast competitively priced and went the extra mile both times for me. I'd recommend them over and over again Ken and Marcus are great to deal with I couldn't be more pleased with my ride.

Showed up in the morning and these guys were able to get my fender and door aligned and looking great in under an hour. All that for a great price and I was able to talk with the actual tech that did the work.

We have been getting vehicles repaired and repainted there for over 20 years now and always had great work done. Recently got truck repainted and body work after a hit and run. They did amazing job. Looks like new

Ken and his team at Crash Magic Auto Body are the ONLY people in Springfield to go to if you have damage no one else is willing to fix. He restored my 2014 GMC Terrain after it was declared a total loss, and did so with professionalism, understanding and speed. I cannot recommend him and the shop enough.

If you have an auto problem, if no one else can help, and if they have availability...maybe you can hire the Crash Magic Team!

Insurance totaled out my car and crash magic fixed it with no issues! All new parts, Ken was very responsive to my calls and texts. I got updated when parts came in and the status of my repairs. Only took about a week to get my car fixed as good as new! I would recommend this shop to anyone who had their car totaled by insurance (if you only have cosmetic damages like me). Ken saved my car! Thank you!!

I brought my 1967 classic car to have the bodywork, primer, complete paint, front cap assembled, and emblems installed. Here is my assessment of crash magic.
Pro: price was right and extras were reasonable and warranted. Good quality paint job for the money and in some areas he went above and behind.

Cons: first ken does not use a computer. I sent dozens of photos, schematics, and all illustrations needed to complete the car. I did not know he uses a 4 inch screen on his phone for his computer as he did not follow any of them.

6 of 12 emblems were not installed.

Front bumper brackets were not installed, inner fenders supports were not installed. The parts on the front cap that were installed had most of the bolts loose. After I picked up the car I was forced to disassemble the front cap to install these items and line up the fenders.

Ken cut corners on the lower rear panel body work which required more body work and spot paint from another shop.

He did not install front grill.

Ken does not take notes of what you tell him. I mentioned to him to paint under the roof drip rails on three occasions. Well he refused to and seem surprised every time. I had another body shop to complete the paint on the rails.

He did not completely paint the rear spoiler. I had another shop complete the paint.

He had the car for over 2 months.

The paint had more flaws than I was expecting. 3 of the flaws were bad enough that I paid another shop to fix them.

My overall assessment is such: if your modern car needs body and fender work he will do you a good job at a good price. If you have a classic car or in need of a restoration DO NOT bring it to crash magic.
