My family spent a week a Lorimer Lake Resort in August of 2016. I can honestly say that it was one of the best vacations we have ever taken. The lake is quiet and calm, the resort was quiet and peaceful. The people who own the resort are two of the kindest and most considerate people you would want to meet. No matter what, they were so friendly and caring. I was pleasantly surprised to find old style courtesy and customer care. I felt like a kid again going to the cottage. Rustic, and clean cabin and beds. When the night came, the lights are turned off all around the resort, and the stars were like a blanket. No intrusive street lights to ruin the splendor of Muskoka in this resort. This was truly perfect. You won't be disappointed. They have thought of everything. Regards, Cam
