If you're looking for one of the best brunch spots in Orlando, The Monroe absolutely deserves a visit. Located in Creative Village in downtown Orlando, this stylish mid-century inspired restaurant delivers on atmosphere, service, and food.

I went for Sunday brunch and was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The space has a beautiful retro-modern design that feels both trendy and welcoming, with plenty of natural light and a relaxed but upscale vibe. It's the kind of place that works just as well for a casual brunch with friends as it does for a date or celebration.

The service was outstanding. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu without being overbearing. Drinks arrived quickly, and the food came out perfectly timed.

For brunch I ordered the shrimp and grits along with the Florida Cobb salad. The shrimp and grits were excellent—creamy, flavorful, and topped with perfectly cooked shrimp that had great seasoning. The Florida Cobb was fresh and balanced, with a bright dressing that tied everything together nicely.

One of the highlights was the maple pork belly served on the side. If you're a pork lover, this is a must-order. The sweet maple glaze paired with the rich, tender pork belly was incredible and easily one of the standout bites of the meal.

Came here for lunch ahead of the England football match at the Inter Co stadium.

Lovely ambience, our server was excellent and the food very good. I had the signature chicken dish which was great.

There was storm whilst we were there, the staff were quite happy for us to sit at the table with coffee waiting for it to pass over.

Nice chilled out venue, would return.

This spot impresses with it's decor once you walk in. They did an amazing job at creating a wow factor. We decided to sit at the bar seeing as there were no tables available (1h wait) but then noticed that the tables stayed empty the whole time we were there. A little confusing.

Ordered a cocktail, it was well balanced and fresh. Had an appetizer, smores pork which was original but just alright. As a main, took the salmon and it was amazing. Good portion, fresh and great taste. Overall the food was good but was expecting better considering the wow factor of the restaurant. Our server was very friendly and mad the experience fun. Overall it was a good night.

We had such a great experience at The Monroe. This place honestly deserves the hype.

The food overall was excellent. Nothing we had was bad, but some dishes definitely stood out more than others.

The jalapeño popper deviled eggs were insane and easily my favorite. The General Tso cauliflower was perfectly crispy and flavorful and ended up being my husband’s favorite. The fried chicken is huge and comes with what feels like four sides, so it’s more than enough to share. I’m very picky about mac and cheese and theirs was genuinely impressive. The bread pudding was unreal, it comes out like a crispy brick on the outside and soft and gooey inside.

Drinks were great too. The Flamingo drink was really good, and their iced lattes were surprisingly amazing, not just good for a restaurant but actually good.

If I had to be picky, the s’mores and the warm potato salad were just okay compared to everything else.

Service really made the experience. Our server Sarah was so bubbly and kind, and her recommendations were mostly spot on. We also had a situation where a child tried getting into our car. We mentioned it casually and didn’t expect anything to come of it, but she immediately took it seriously, got the manager, and he went out right away to handle it. That level of awareness made us feel taken care of and able to actually relax and enjoy the rest of our night.

The pricing was honestly kind of shocking in a good way. We ordered three appetizers, a large entrée, two alcoholic drinks, two coffees, and dessert and it was right around $100.

Overall, great food, great service, great pricing. A couple things I wouldn’t reorder, but the things that were good were really good. We’ll definitely be back.

I rarely give 5 stars to anything, but this restaurant, on this visit, amply deserves it. My wife and I and another couple arrived for lunch at about 1 pm. Parking was easy a cross the street: first good sign. This was our first visit to The Monroe and we were favorably impressed by its decor and absence of loud music, something so common and annoying in restaurants nowadays. We were seated at a four top (table 34) next to the windows with a view of the park. Our server, Joey, was prompt with the menus, which he explained in detail. We ordered 2 flounder sandwiches, a fried chicken plate and a chicken Caesar wrap. We all found our servings well presented, abundant and delicious. Since we live within 2 miles of Orlando’s “restaurant row” we rarely venture any farther. But this time it was well worth it. We will be back.

Food here was super good. It was creative, fresh (great quality), and really delicious. Service was also awesome. We got a really honest waiter who helped us pick our meals and was honest about his favs and not-so-favs! We definitely would visit here again.

From start to finish the meal for our party of 3 was superb. For the first time in a while, the food at a restaurant has warranted the tab at the end of the night. The Monroe really nailed each dish tonight. The veggie carrot starter was simple and let the carrots shine. Mains of charred onion ravioli from Orlando City Pasta, pork chop, and their signature fried chicken were all spot on and well balanced.

Not pictured because it was devoured was their bread pudding, which might soon be listed as a schedule 1 drug for it's addictiveness. Bring your second stomach for it.

Just go. Do yourself the biggest favor and go.

When I tell you everything here is just perfection, I mean it. From their service (shout out Stephanie & Dani!) to their vibes to their food! The aesthetic and vibes are immaculate - Its’s fun with a hint of moodiness.

I tried their Kung Pao Cauliflower and Fried Chicken. A few friends tried their salmon and burger. Their food was made thoughtfully with fresh ingredients and portions were excellent. Their fried chicken was salted to perfection with the right amount of spices and THAT CRISP will send you outta this world. I don’t know how their chicken remained moist and tender! The Mac n cheese is also to die for - noodles were al dente with the right amount of cheese.

I was here with a large group and Stephanie serviced us seamlessly. The entire staff was so nice and friendly! Catch the chef throwin the peace sign!

This place is pretty darn fun with some crazy dishes on the menu. S’mores pork belly worked! The cocktails also have fun combos: some work better but all are good. Would come back here again.

A lovely evening at The Monroe. Delia our server was excellent. Loved our whipped ricotta appetizer. Our two main courses the red snapper with lentils was delicious. And their signature fried chicken lived up to it reputation. For desert we had their version of bread pudding and it was very good.

The food was amazing!! Seriously hit the spot. Biscuits and gravy are elite, and honestly a great appetizer to start your meal. Everything came out hot, fresh, and cooked right.

Shoutout to Stephanie, our waiter… she was awesome and really met every need we had, even down to opening the shades so we could get that perfect brunch lighting 😂

The fried chicken was done to perfection crispy, juicy, seasoned just right. My belly is happy, my tastebuds are full, and my stomach left satisfied.

I’m coming back for that burger!!

The Monroe truly surprised me in the best way. I spend a lot of time in the area, and this is hands-down my favorite brunch so far. Every dish was balanced...nothing felt over-sauced or overworked. From sweet to savory, everything tasted intentional and well-executed. And the mocktails absolutely live up to their name and price point. They were thoughtfully crafted, refreshing, and definitely not just juice over ice. Overall, such a great experience from start to finish.

P.s. The breakfast sandwich is not small but it is so so good.

Amazing appetizers and we tried a ton of them. The fried chicken was unreal. Just the best! The service was perfect and the atmosphere is beautiful. The owners know how to run their restaurants and we've been to them all except for Sparrow. That's our next trip! GO THERE!

First time eating here and it was wonderful! We had the chicken wings for an appetizer and the fried chicken and meatloaf. For desert we shared a slice of the chocolate cake. Everything was absolutely delicious . The atmosphere was great and our waitress was extremely attentive.

We will definitely return.

The food at Monroe is solid for brunch, but honestly, it really shines at dinner. The biscuits at brunch were a little on the crunchy side, but still tasty. Our chicken and waffles were good, though the waffles had more of a funnel cake consistency than a traditional waffle.

Dinner, on the other hand—WOW. We came last week and that fried chicken meal with the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes was 10/10 (really 100000/10). Absolutely delicious!

The service is always great here, too—the servers are attentive and make the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back for dinner, and I’d be open to giving brunch another shot.

First visit today to celebrate our Mother’s birthday and we really enjoyed it. We ordered a Two piece Fried Chicken with Macaroni Salad and a Cucumber/Tomato/Bell pepper salad and dinner roll($19), a Burger with fries ($20) and a Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken ($21). Everything was tasty. The Fried Chicken was moist and really nice, the Grilled Chicken on the Caesar Salad was perfectly seasoned and moist. The Burger was a bit messy with 2 smashed Pattie’s, cheese, sauce, onions and pickles and really tasty too.
Our server was Freddy and he was wonderful…attentive and kind. He even brought my Mom a birthday cake pop with a candle.
The dining room is comfortable, rustic yet elegant and very nice.
This is a restaurant that I can recommend for sure and we would order everything we ordered this visit again. However, I saw the Fried Chicken sandwich as it was leaving the kitchen window and I’m pretty sure that is what I will order next visit. There is paid street parking across the street and I think there is a parking garage nearby.

The Monroe was a great find and walk distance from Inter & Co stadium. Happy hour had great menu items, had the Old Fashioned and The Monroe punch, both drinks were made to perfection. Then the French Onion dip and chips both made in house were delicious. The steak cooked to a medium rare and the salmon has amazing crisp skin. Both items were delicious, seasoned just right and we will be back. Highly recommend. The atmosphere was fun, very big yet felt like we were the only ones there. Our waiter was very attentive, and we never felt like we waited.

Came for brunch. Beautiful interior with mixed mediums for design! Very warm & welcoming, caught myself talking with the barista for a bit, she was incredibly kind. Service was pretty prompt, it was a full restaurant and we were never left waiting too long for anything. Everything we ordered had layers of flavor, with the cinnamon roll being a show stopper, being one of the best in recent memory. The biscuits & gravy and the chicken & waffles (amazing waffles) are also very worthy of mention. Overall amazing experience, highly recommend for brunch

My wife and I, along with a group of friends (6 total), had brunch at The Monroe. Upon arrival for our reservation, we were warmly greeted by the hostess. The vibe was relaxed and welcoming, with a modern, comfortable atmosphere.

I ordered the shrimp and grits, while my wife went with the chicken and waffles. The shrimp and grits not only looked amazing but delivered on flavor — creamy, well-seasoned grits paired with perfectly cooked shrimp and just the right amount of spice.

The chicken and waffles were equally impressive. The Belgian waffles were crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and the chicken was tender, moist, and perfectly crispy. Every bite was packed with flavor.

The dessert cinnamon bun is a must try.

If you’re an Orlando local or visiting, make sure to add The Monroe to your bucket list. As locals, we’re always looking for the next best restaurant and I think we may have found it.

For starters, the interior of this restaurant is precious. It’s a coffee shop by day and a restaurant by night. We loved the colorful decorations.

As an appetizer, we opted to try the pork belly s’mores and the buffalo chicken egg rolls. If you like sweet, make sure to try the pork belly. It was a tad bit sweet for us, but others may enjoy. The egg rolls were to die for.

We both chose the fried chicken sandwich for our meal. I subbed for brussel sprouts and he subbed for cucumber slaw. How delicious!

Our service was excellent and our waiter was lovely. Wish we remembered his name.

We can’t wait to try again!
