I injured my ankle after a fall while ice skating, and the sprain gradually became worse over time. That’s when I decided to visit WellMax Physio Clinic in Oakville, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I received.

From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly, professional, and welcoming. Janhvi was especially helpful and made me feel comfortable right away. My treatment initially started with Dhrushi Bhatt who was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. After just two sessions, my pain had significantly improved.

Unfortunately, due to a busy schedule, my symptoms returned and became even worse. Dhrushi was not available so Gurmeet Rai helped me. I was truly amazed by her expertise. I entered the clinic limping and struggling to walk, but after just one session, I felt a dramatic improvement and was able to walk much more comfortably. She carefully assessed my condition, recommended targeted exercises, and even advised me on better footwear choices.

After two sessions with Gurmeet, my pain was completely gone, and I was back to walking normally. I am extremely grateful to Gurmeet and the entire WellMax team for their exceptional care, professionalism, and dedication to my recovery.

I’ve been going to Wellmax for my neck and lower back pain for a few months now, and the entire experience has been incredibly smooth. Gurmeet is a true expert - she gets straight to the root cause of the discomfort and treats it perfectly. I’m so happy with the results, and my pain is practically gone. I came to see Gurmeet and Dhrushi at wellmax after my thumb and wrist injury at work under wsib. They took time to assess and explain everything to me and time i started with wellmax, I am feeling so much better and pain is less . Gurmeet's hands on technique and manual therapy is amazing and knowledgeable. I see big difference in my condition and movement. Clinic is very clean and very positive that makes me comfortable every time I come here.I truly appreciate work they do and recommend it everyone who is looking for real physio treatment and manual therapy.

Friendly staff they listen to my concerns and answer all my questions. Gurmeet will always explain what she is doing and how it will help in the healing process. Personally i believe such approach is getting patients involved in their treatment that way i am aware of what is happening during my sessions. Janvi and Nav are very gentle and caring when administering manual therapy. Welcoming atmosphere and it is a very clean facility.

Gurmeet Rai, Owner and Registered Physiotherapist, at Wellmax Physiotherapy in Oakville, has been treating my wife Claudia for spinal curvature conditions, Scoliosis and Kyphosis. Gurmeet has also treated me for hip and side pain issues. Gurmeet Rai is a very caring, well trained and knowledgeable professional, and she carefully addresses all related health issues. Gurmeet also recommends personal exercises, which can be done at home to make sure that her patient is getting the maximum recovery in-between visits. I first met Gurmeet about two years ago at a different clinic when I sought out pelvic floor therapy to help with C-section recovery after the birth of my second daughter. Within just a handful of sessions, Gurmeet took issues I had been struggling with for months (and honestly, years after my first birth) and had me feeling like myself again. She’s the reason I went from debilitatingly painful periods to completely manageable ones — something I didn’t think was possible!

Since then, I’ve seen her for other physio needs, as I carry a lot of stress-related tension and chronic pain. Gurmeet is exceptionally kind, supportive, and incredibly knowledgeable about how the body functions as a whole.

What I love most is that Gurmeet’s goal is always genuine healing, not endless appointments. She’s practical, goal-oriented, and never makes you feel guilty if you’re not perfect with your exercises — just gently encourages you toward progress.

When I recently needed a physiotherapist again and learned she had opened her own clinic — Wellmax Physiotherapy in Oakville — it was an easy decision to follow her there, even though it’s now a 25-minute drive from me.
