Sansotei has been our go-to ramen spot since our college days, and over a decade later, it remains one of our favorite comfort food restaurants in Toronto.

The Tonkotsu ramen is consistently delicious with a rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles. The quality has remained remarkably consistent throughout the years, which is one of the reasons we keep coming back.

The Dundas location is clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located in the heart of downtown Toronto. Service is always fast and friendly, making it a great spot for a quick lunch, dinner, or a warm meal after a day in the city.

We love that Sansotei offers authentic Japanese ramen at an affordable price point, especially considering its downtown location. It's one of those rare places that combines great food, value, and nostalgia.

Tried the tonkotsu black and tonkotsu plus. The portion seem really small overall, very little noodles and not a lot of soup. The broth was also on the salty side, especially the "black" one.

The pork belly didnt really taste great. The egg and daikon were really good though.

The interior was nice and the staff were super nice.

Great spot for some ramen if you’re tired of the Eaton Centre food court! Service was lovely and food was great. My friend and I decided to try the mazemen (with an egg on top of course) and it was delicious. Neto Shoga Gyoza was also good. Would definitely come back to try more of the menu!

Nice spot to get some yummy ramen! Only tried once but I'll be back for more. My first time trying ramen that didnt come from a package. I cant believe I've been missing out this much!!

The Ramen here was absolutely out of this world. Service staff was very attentive and super friendly. We will absolutely visit this establishment again when in town. Worth the walk even on such a wicked cold evening.

Both times I’ve visited I’ve had Yurika (I hope I spelled that right) as my server and she is so welcoming and overall a lovely person (and an attentive server) 😊 I ordered the tonkotsu black each time and it always tastes fresh and flavourful. I think the price is pretty good too (I also got a drink so the total came to about 23$). I will for sure be back next time I’m craving a bowl of ramen and hope to try some of their other menu items ! (I got a yuzu cheesecake to-go but am saving it for tomorrow so can’t comment on the taste yet 😆)

Not much to say cuz me coming back already says it all! I’ve tried other locations before but finally stopped by this one after walking past so many times. The noodles were cooked perfectly with great texture and bold flavors. And their cheesecake? Amazing!!! Always has the right sweetness with fresh fruit flavor. Definitely recommend!
