Food was amazing and so was the service. For desert I order the fresh mango shaved ice, and it came on time and was amazing. But there was this Oder to the place that I canβt quite describe, but it didnβt really ruin anything or anyone. Over all amazing experience, and would 100% recommend this place to other people.

Definitely enjoyed it more than their College location. Not sure why. The chicken and egg croquettes were crunchy and creamy. The shio and shoyu broth were extremely rich. The soft boiled egg is the best I've had, and they give you a decent amount of noodles.

Great place for some ramen. The house drinks and really worth it, had a hot plum something that I just can't forget. The food is really well prepared and the price is fair.
The edamame was on point.

Ramen Isshin at Queen St. West. Is one of our favorite ramen spots in Toronto! The Stone Bowl Shoyu Kotteri Tsukemen and Blueberry Cheesecake Shaved Ice are absolute must-tries! We keep coming back for them! Great food and very friendly staff. Highly recommended!!

If you're into spicy ramen, I would 100% recommend the Red Dragon Ramen from Ramen Isshin. It is easily one of the best in Toronto. The broth is rich, creamy, and perfectly spicy, with just the right touch of red chili flavor.
One tip: if you enjoy finishing your broth, Iβd suggest ordering it without the sliced green chilies. It keeps the spice level balanced and lets you enjoy the full depth of the broth.
Also, the Agedashi Tofu is top notch, crispy on the outside, silky inside. And if you're into octopus, the Tako Wasabi is a great appetizer.
It is a bit pricey, but honestly, the taste and service make it totally worth it. The Red Dragon Ramen clears most other spicy ramens in the city. Solid 5 stars from me.

Ramen Isshin delivers exactly what you want from a good ramen spotβrich broth, fresh noodles, and bold flavours. The broth is deep and comforting without being too salty, and the noodles have that perfect chew. Their toppings are generous and well-balanced, especially the chashu, which is tender and full of flavour. The service is quick, and the atmosphere feels warm and inviting even when itβs busy. Overall, a reliable go-to for a satisfying bowl of ramen.

The food at this place was absolutely fantastic. The only thing that I would love to see on the menu is a beef option. Other than pork chicken or vegetarian.
The staff was super friendly and quick to get us.Our drinks order food and bring the food out in a very timely manner. Excuse the pictures of the food I was too excited to get eating and then realized I'll take a picture. However, the presentation is also what you'd expect at a ramen restaurant

Delicious vegetarian ramen! I tried the spicy vegetarian red miso ramenβthe broth was perfectly seasoned with a deep savory flavor and the noodles had a great chew. Would absolutely return to try the veg roasted garlic shoyu. The staff was really friendly as well. All around a wonderful experience!

Our most favorite Ramen place in downtown so far. Food were great, staff were very friendly and professional. And the venue was very clean, well-ventilated, and cozy. We got red dragon and vegeterian spicy one. It was a bit expensive with respect to the small portion of protein.

I don't usually go downtown because of construction and traffic. However, it was a surprise birthday celebration for my brother.
His favorite restaurant is Ramen Isshin, and I'm not surprised. The menu is QR code off the drinks menu. Kind of weird, but I guess they are saving the trees from printing menus.
The menu is pretty simple. The appetizers are typical for Japanese ramen spots - chicken karaage, deep fried pork gyoza, takoyaki, deep fried tofu, and plant based nugget
The ramens are separated by broth - Isshin originals, Red miso, vegetarian, Shio "salt,"and Shoyu. There are also rice bowls, chicken karaage, and Cha Shu pork belly.
I tried the Red Dragon, and it definitely lived up to its name. This broth is a fire breather. The spice level is around 8 out of 10. Apparently, there are 15 different spices, hence the heat and depth of flavors.
My wife got the red miso, and she said the broth was very tasty and borderline salty. The thick, twisty ramen noodles have nice chewiness, and the seared pork cha shu was delicious. Please note that the red miso ramen does not come with soft boiled marinated egg except for Red Dragon.
The appetizers we ordered were chicken karaage, takoyaki, and edamame. The chicken karaage was shaped like chicken balls. They were juicy inside, and dipping sauce was good. The takoyaki was pretty good, and you can taste the octopus inside. Edamame was seasoned with sea salt and was addictive.
Overall, the food was pretty good, and I would definitely come back to try the shoyu or shio Ramen.
