It’s so hard to find ramen with only chicken, so I really do love this place.

I love their black garlic and god fire spicy ramen; always comforting and delicious. I do get it with less salt though, as I find the regular ones way too salty. Their chicken gyoza is also tasty. Plus, everyone who works here is so nice!!!

This was the best ramen I've ever had in Canada, and the best food overall in Toronto. Service is extremely efficient and kind, and the chicken is very tender. The food came out so quickly, and we were all very happy.

Best ramen ever.

This is seriously, wholeheartedly without a doubt the most delicious, rich/koku ramen. Attentive staff. Quick service.

I ordered the black ramen, normal noodles normal saltiness and added an egg and ordered some gyoza. I wish I could eat it again!

Highly recommend for anyone visiting Toronto to come give them a try, you will not be disappointed!

My first experience in Toronto for the chicken ramen. This is really authentic as what I tried in Japan. The soup is very thick and tasty . Wonderful warm services.

My girlfriend and I had some chicken ramen from here while we were in the area and everything exceeded expectations. This location has only the chicken option for broth and protein, which was really cool. The chicken bone broth was creamy, fresh and so flavourful; it was full and exceptional with the chicken pieces themselves and the toppings that came with the ramen. The portion was also very good! The ramen itself already came with toppings like scallions, mushrooms AND nori which is not typical at other ramen spots. Overall, this was some very mind-blowing ramen! We also got the gyoza as a starter - at a really good price and so so good!

We got to add on minced garlic, which was one of the free toppings and then at our table there were different sauces to add to your ramen to your own taste! There was ramen sauce, soya sauce, chili oil and sesame seeds. Recommend trying it without any added sauce first and then add to your own liking!

We arrived just before the dinner rush and I would recommend getting there early since it is a small enough space, but clearly very busy! The workers were all very kind and efficient in their serving despite the busyness of the restaurant in the hour we were there.

Interested to try the pork only shop which is a few storefronts down from this one!

Having grown up with ramen everywhere, I was almost always disappointed after trying it because it never lived up to how others described it. This one did. The first time I ordered the godfire level 3 and the server was a bit concerned and asked if I wanted some of the sauce on the side to adjust the level of spiciness. It was really good and made even better with the unlimited additions at the table like crushed sesame seeds, pickled ginger, garlic, and ramen sauce. On the note of ramen sauce, when ordering your ramen, check off less of the salty because then you can add at the table to your preference. I also tried the black ramen but much prefer the spicy one.
The karaage was incredible. It was crispy and juicy and came with a flavoured salt. The person next to me was here on a business trip from Ottawa and bought 10 to bring home by train.
This is one of the best chicken ramens in the city and is 2 doors down from their pork ramen location. You can still order the basic pork ramen here but there's more variety of pork flavours at the other location.
It might not be cheap but it's competitively priced to other ramen places and is one of the best.

I’ve been to over 20 different ramen spots and tried many styles, but what Ikkousha offers is on a whole different level. Everything here from preparation to seasoning to presentation is done perfectly. Every single bowl looks like a piece of art, and the flavors back it up.

You really get consistent, high quality no matter which Ikkousha location you visit. I’m more of a red-meat person, so I usually lean toward their next-door spot that serves ramen with pork, but even the chicken ramen here was incredibly rich, flavorful, and satisfying.

The vibe is cozy and exactly what you’d expect from a good Japanese ramen place. Service is solid, and the staff are friendly and efficient. The menu is simple, well thought out, and easy to navigate, which I appreciate.

Highly recommended especially on a cold winter day. This is ramen done right. 🍜

My new favourite ramen spot…Service was friendly and efficient. We ordered the paitan and shoyu. The ramen came out so quickly, the broth was rich and flavourful and had so much depth to it. I highly recommend this spot!

Another ramen shop from the famous Ikkousha group based in Fukuoka, specialising in toripaitan (thick chicken soup) ramen.

This Ikkousha shop specialising in toripaitan ramen is quite unique I think since I don’t have think there is a similar shop in Japan. Nevertheless, the soup tastes good, and the noodles, which seem to be thicker and higher in hydration rate compared to the standard Hakata noodles, are bouncy and complement the soup well

Staff are friendly and service is efficient. The restaurant is clean, tidy, and organised, making it a comfortable space to enjoy a bowl of hearty ramen

Staff were very attentive. Order taking and serving were efficient. Good and rich broth for authentic ramen. I love the fact that the franchise has a stamp card for you to use every time you have a ramen. It encourages you to keep visiting and have free giveaways like gyoza or a full ramen. Chicken broth is just as rich as a pork bone broth and is perfect for people who cannot have pork because of religion.

It is however quite expensive, especially if you want a bit more toppings. But it's definitely worth having once in a while.

Me and my friend came for an early dinner before we go to watch
Ballet nearby. We initially want to go for the pork location, but need to wait for a table so we go for the chicken this time.

There are two branches on the same street, one with chicken soup noodles and the other one with pork soup noodles. I prefer the pork more.

This is one of the best Japanese Ramen places for me in Toronto for a few years now, the soup is rich and tastes flavorful.

Dumplings 餃子 are also nice and juicy. I also like their condiments, especially garlic and spicy vege they offer you to take it yourself now and they just put on the table now. However, the chicken & fish soup seems less rich compared to earlier, I can't taste the fish soup and the meat seems thinner than before.

Not a cheap ramen place but tastes good. Give it a try if you haven't tried once yet.

This place has been a favourite of mine for some time. Their chicken broth has a depth of flavour that I haven’t seen in any other chicken ramen in Toronto.

They’ve also always put a lot chicken than I’ve gotten at other places. From my experience it usually contains 3 thin slices of chicken and a bunch small cubes of chicken as well. Not only that, but the texture of the chicken is so much more tender than I’ve gotten in other places. The small cubes have always been nice and delicate and pair perfectly with the rich broth.

Today when I went I was a little disappointed because my ramen lacked those small chicken pieces. Those pieces and their texture, along with the broth, were why this place has been such a favourite of mine. Perhaps they just forgot it today and they haven’t stopped adding them, I’m not sure.

Regardless, the flavour of the bowl overall is still delicious as always. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

Our first time here. Great ramen! Staff helpful. Suggest you add premium toppings . We selected "normal" saltiness which I found too salty for me. Space is crammed and quite busy.
