I got another dairy platter from Soul Bagel and it’s the best in the area. The small platter for 10-1/ people feeds about 18. It has 18 large round scoops and is garnished nicely with 18 bagels included. I have ordered it a few times now and it’s always fresh, very generous in size and delicious. A must try and the large is huge for the fair pricing. Thank you for another delicious tray.

I had a very disappointing experience at this place. The customer service was essentially nonexistent, and the owner was extremely rude and unprofessional. At one point, his behavior felt aggressive and completely inappropriate for someone dealing with customers.

I specifically ordered bread that was supposed to be two ounces, but instead I was given bread that was closer to six ounces. When I pointed out the mistake, the owner refused to take responsibility, did not offer a refund, and didn’t even apologize.

Mistakes can happen, but how they are handled makes all the difference. Unfortunately, this situation was handled very poorly. I would not recommend this place to anyone expecting basic respect and decent customer service.

Shawarma is low quality, day old rice and chicken, stale salad, poorly seasoned and very acidic, prices on the wall do not reflect real prices, paid 19.99 for a shawarma and is terrible with all due respect.
They heated up rice in the microwave…

Love the food , bagels are excellent and the sandwiches as well and the ladies that service the counter are wonderful. But the owner always seems to have a nasty attitude. Got a sandwich this week, asked for a tea , he grimaced and asked "what"? I repeated it clearly and he gave me the wrong one anyway.
Then he proceeded to toss my change on the counter towards me. I was super polite the whole time. I really don't get it.

April 07, 2025 I went specifically to look for 2 things and I found both.
I wanted the bagels because they are delicious and always fresh and I wanted some Pitas. I found them and I'm happy so thank you.

And the biggest surprise for me was once I got home, you now have a new fan of your bagels not just myself and my mother. The bigger fan than the 2 of us put together I think is my mother's 5 months old kitten, Yes I said kitten he is adorable and when I came in and he smelled that amazing aroma from those bagels he asked my mother for some of the middle of the bagel and he ate half a bagel LOL he just loved it then he went for my bag but I had to close it so he doesn't steal another bagel.

So now you have 3 fans of your bagels, I am happy to report that to you 😀

I found this place quite by chance. I decided to go in.

Little did I know the gentleman I held the door for was the owner. I went on choosing my bagels and went to pay.

Very nice gentleman was quite fascinated by the amount of rings I had on my finger, so I showed him my Fingers and my ear which is full of Earrings and I showed him my necklaces. He was giggling and asking me if I was obsessed with jewelry and I confess to be very much so lol

Lovely bakery I would totally go back again. Happy Hanukkah😊

Really great bagel place with many options - crisp bottom bagels! Love the selection of cream cheese- dill, green onion, smoke salmon, and everything but the bagel spice. They also have tuna, egg salad, and schnitzel that you can turn into a sandwhich (highly recommend on a challah or onion bun)!
They also have shawarma and falafel as well as options to build your own salad or pick up a Greek salad.
Great babka, rugalach, and baked goodies as well. The cinnamon pastry is amazing.

The Greek salad was lettuce heavy and goes for $15. Prices are a bit steep for a bagel place but in line with some of the downtown bagel spots.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. There is some seating but it’s good for pick up.

Soul Bagel is amazing! Everything is so fresh, and they run their restaurant very efficiently. I had a shawarma, and it was delicious. Their bagels are also fantastic. There is also a large selection of various desserts. I was very happy with my experience at Soul Bagel, and will definitely be back.

This is a ls close to a true 4.6 rating as possible. Small corner restaurant (takeout only) near North toronto. The ladies were so nice who helped me. Very professional and treated me like a son. Food was fresh. Like just made (lunchtime). I picked my buns (bagel for the tuna, challah for chicken), toppings and got two sandwiches. Tuna and Chicken schnitzel. Both were solid. I look forward to stopping by again. I would even detour. Plus they had fresh shawarma on a spot which I didn’t expect. That’s next time. Enjoy.
