Saw these guys cutting down trees a street over from where we live, and grabbed their number. Was able to get an estimate a few days later and scheduled for removal within a week. Gus and his team came out today and cut down a huge hawthorn tree in our backyard along with a tall tree of unknown variety in the front of our home. They provided great service: arrived on time, worked efficiently and even disposed of some branches and small limbs that we had laying in our backyard without being asked, and left both the back and front of our home cleaner then when they got here. Highly recommend!

Their crew damaged a brand new raised-bed planter in our yard, did a poor job of clean-up, moved large heavy objects in our yard and didn’t put them back, knocked over yard decor, and unplugged patio lights and never put anything back.

Even worse, the crew just left and didn’t check in when they finished - likely because they knew they all of these issues and didn’t want to own up to it!

The office wasn’t much help, just offering a “sorry” and “we’ll check with the crew” — and never heard another word from them.

It’s unfortunate their crew was so sloppy and snuck out because their tree work was actually pretty good.

In addition, they had to stop work on the original planned day when a crew member got injured and had to reschedule the rest of the job for about two weeks later. That wasn’t a problem and understand things happen, but they also left a climbing rope on our property in between visits that wasn’t retrieved until they came back the 2nd time., despite several notifications to their office.

Given all this, and the lack of response and restitution, it left a very bad taste, and thus Duran’s cannot be recommended and further customers should likely be watching their crews like a hawk every step of the way so you don’t get any unwelcome surprises like we did.

We had two mature apple trees causing some issues at our property lines and needed one removed and the other trimmed. Duran Tree Service did an amazing job! They were punctual, neat, friendly, and work quickly and professionally, and they cleaned up after themselves at the end. I would definitely hire them again in the future and recommend their services to anyone who needs some arbor work done.

These guys do amazing work. Not only was their pricing very reasonable, their work is top notch. The tree they removed for us was very close to our building but they took care of it without a problem. They ground up the entire stump and cleaned up all of the debris, it literally looks like a tree was never there. Highly recommended.

Durant Tree Service was fast, efficient, and reasonably priced. Hugo was pleasant to talk to, we were scheduled in a timely manner, he was efficient with directing his crew, and they did a nice job cleaning up, and left the requested wood. The guy in the tree was very skilled at securing himself to the tree and securing the limbs prior to cutting and lowering them safely. We would definitely recommend them , and use them again!! Great job guys!😀

I arranged tree service with Duran Tree Service in Hillsboro for a family friend who had a few large trees growing close to the house and branches hanging over the roof. They wanted someone qualified to take a proper look. Gus came out to inspect the property and walked through everything with us. He explained which trees needed trimming, which branches were a safety concern, and suggested removing one tree that was too close to the house. He was clear, practical, and did not push for extra work. We were happy with how everything turned out.

I noticed a large maple leaning toward my fence and called Duran Tree Service in Hillsboro for an assessment. Gus booked me quickly and explained what they would check trunk health, canopy weight, and clearance over the power line. The crew arrived on time, set safe drop zones, and used proper rigging to lower heavy branches without damaging the fence. They did a wonderful job! Recently, Duran Tree Service LLC helped me grind down several tree stumps, and I couldn’t be happier with their work. Their price was very reasonable, and the team showed great professionalism throughout the process.

Before starting, they carefully double-checked with me about the location of my sprinkler system and underground pipes to avoid any damage. Gus came came out soon after I called for an estimate, in the rain, and gave us a very reasonable estimate almost immediately. The crew was on time, FAST, and very friendly and professional and they racked the wood for me. We don’t have any more trees to cut down but when we need some work done again, we’ll be calling Duran Tree Service!
