He served tours in Iraq, Afghanistan, Eqypt, Burkina Faso, and Mauritania. He started his nursing career after graduating from Delta College and worked in a variety of settings including neuro progressive, neuro ICU, pre/post anesthesia care, and corrections. Dennis graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from Northern Michigan University in 2023 specializing as a family nurse practitioner, and was fortunate enough to complete most of his clinical rotations right here at SCMH.
