As her nursing career continued, she decided she wanted to further her education and become a nurse practitioner. She chose a focus of adult-gerontology with a special interest in wound care. Sheena considers chronic wound care to be a challenging area of medicine, one that will allow her to expand her skills while providing personalized care for her patients.
