Took my dog in for a checkup with the new doc, Dr Stanton. He was very attentive, listened to all my concerns and seemed to genuinely care about giving me the best guidance for my pup. I would recommend Dr Stanton and the team over at fondren pet care 1000000/10. They are absolutely AMAZING, and it is crystal clear they genuinely care about their patients. They are doing everything they possibly can to save my French bulldog baby’s life. One of the vet techs even brought her own dog in to see if he is a match to donate blood for my baby boy. They have gone above and beyond in every single way possible. They have kept me in the loop throughout this tough time and have made sure I am aware of the cost and reasoning for everything they are doing for my boy. I could not recommend them enough.

I just had my first visit with Fondren pet care and was so happy with the time and care they took with my beagle who is very sweet but terrified of the vet and becomes aggressive. After a traumatic experience at another vet, I decided to try Fondren. The vet and tech were very compassionate and patient with my dog. We were not rushed and they tried several different approaches to make him comfortable. Fondren is the only place I will be taking my dogs from now on.

In a long life of dogs and vets, I think Dr. Fondren is the best. Knowledgeable and caring and careful. And her staff is great, too. The doctor and her people make visits a pleasure, and I never worry about the level of care.

It has been almost a decade, and I will never forget my experience with Dr. Fondren, and not in a good way. Somehow, she still haunts me. Almost 10 years ago, as a nervous first-time puppy mom, I walked into her office, followed every single feeding instruction she gave me, and my puppy ended up sick with diarrhea, so naturally I took her back to Dr. Fondren. When I explained what was going on with Lola, she asked me to point to a poop chart of what my puppy’s stool looked like. When I pointed to her chart, her response was “pardon my language, but are you shitting me?” Instead of compassion, I got humiliated and felt like a failure. Her delivery was cold, condescending, and completely unprofessional. The kind of tone that sticks with you for years. My “first puppy” is now almost 10. She is thriving, loved, and spoiled beyond belief. She is my first baby before my son was born. My little boy has never known a day without “his sister”. I doubt Dr. Fondren remembers me. ( I’ll attach pictures of my babe to this Google review.) People rarely remember the moments they’re cruel, only the ones they’re praised for. If you are a first time pet owner, do yourself a favor and take them anywhere but here.

Dr Fondren and her staff are by far the best care you can get for your fur babies. She is incredibly knowledgeable and honest. She doesn’t recommend things be done just to charge you. She genuinely cares for every animal and owner brought in there. Highly recommend!

Dr. Fondren is an extraordinary Veterinarian! I’ve been going to her for over ten years. When I moved out of the area, I continued to return to her practice for my dogs care as I trust her and only her 100%. She not only is an excellent doctor and diagnostician, but she has so much compassion as well as empathy for the pets as well as their humans. Until my dogs can speak to me in English and tell me what’s going on, I need to trust my vet implicitly and that’s why I travel to see Dr. Fondren!
