After noticing bites on my daughter’s legs, we panicked and called Guard More Pest Control, worried that we had bed bugs. Gary and his brother responded immediately. They understood how stressful and frightening the situation was for us and showed up at our door ready to help and get to the bottom of it.

What impressed me most was that they didn’t jump to conclusions. They first helped us assess the situation, carefully moved furniture, and investigated until they determined that the issue wasn’t bed bugs, but some sort of beetle. They then went above and beyond to treat our home, thoroughly cleaning and steaming the floors, furniture, pillows, and anything else that might have come into contact with the bugs. They also treated the entire apartment, not just the room where we had noticed the problem.

I was honestly blown away by their responsiveness, attention to detail, and genuine care. When you’re worried about your child and the safety of your home, having someone show up so quickly, take your concerns seriously, and handle everything with such care means the world.

Gary explained that two treatments would normally be needed to fully address the issue. A few weeks later, before the second treatment, our condo administration informed us that the problem was affecting the wider building and that a company had been hired to treat every unit. I called Gary to let him know, and he graciously told me that he wouldn’t proceed with or charge us for the second treatment. He explained that, given the upcoming building-wide treatment, it was better not to expose our family to unnecessary additional treatments.

That level of honesty and integrity says everything about the kind of business Gary runs. He could easily have gone ahead with the second treatment and charged us, but instead, he put our family’s well-being first.

We came home after the long weekend to find a large dead raccoon on our patio furniture. I called Gary, and he arrived within just a few hours to take care of it.

He did an incredibly thorough job of not only removing the raccoon, but also disinfecting the entire area. A couple of days later, he even returned to steam clean the patio to help ensure there were no parasites left behind.

Gary is knowledgeable, responsive, and highly professional. I truly appreciated the extra care he took, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services to anyone needing wildlife removal.

I had a major weekend emergency with a wasp nest deep inside a wall void right next to our exterior utility box, and Guard More Pest Control handled the situation perfectly. Even though they had to travel to get to us on short notice, Gary and Jason arrived quickly and were incredibly professional.

They were very attentive and took the time to come inside and check our interior electrical panel just to make sure everything was completely safe for my sister. They really helped ease her concerns about the wasps getting inside her room. When I pointed out a few other areas where we had seen bugs, they happily walked the inside and outside of the house with me to investigate.

They explained exactly how moisture problems and structural gaps behind the stucco and inside the house were giving pests easy access. They also gave me great advice on what to consider for our upcoming home renovations. They even took extra care to treat a few specific concern areas inside to ensure no other bugs would be an issue while we wait for those renovations.

They gave me so much peace of mind about what we need to do going forward to prevent future issues. It is rare to find a company that genuinely cares about the long-term safety and integrity of your home rather than just offering a quick fix. Highly recommend!

I heard sounds from my attic and I hired Guard More to inspect. They found a family of raccoons in the attic and the technicians went in to remove them. They came out with 4 raccoons, now I know why the sound was so loud at home. The sounds we're getting too much for us, thank you again Guard More for the service.

We had yellow jackets in a hard to access window well. Tried spraying ourselves with wasp spray with no change.
Gary arrived and did a walk around. As we were chatting in the driveway we looked up and low and behold saw a large active wasp nest. How fortunate we happened to see it during his visit.
Gary sprayed and disposed of the wasp nest, sprayed the the yellow jackets.
There is more! I told Gary about seeing a mouse near the same window well with the yellow jackets while I was watering the garden.
We had set traps and caught two ourselves. We decided to have Gary set up a bait station.
A wise choice I feel.

Gary is now our go to for any future pest issues.
