Guard More Pest Control is a member of the National Wildlife Control Operators Association (NWCOA) and attends training sessions to better wildlife removal and proofing services for clients. We like to support local businesses when possible so we called Gary (Guard More) for help after a mouse sighting in our place. He took his time and did a thorough inspection including outside the house and the basement, covered the dryer vent with mesh and filled and blocked a small hole in the basement as well as laying baits. He has also offered to return to check on the baits in the coming weeks for no additional charge. His rate was very reasonable and to top it off Gary is a really nice guy. I had a major weekend emergency with a wasp nest deep inside a wall void right next to our exterior utility box, and Guard More Pest Control handled the situation perfectly. Even though they had to travel to get to us on short notice, Gary and Jason arrived quickly and were incredibly professional.
They were very attentive and took the time to come inside and check our interior electrical panel just to make sure everything was completely safe for my sister. They really helped ease her concerns about the wasps getting inside her room. When I pointed out a few other areas where we had seen bugs, they happily walked the inside and outside of the house with me to investigate.
They explained exactly how moisture problems and structural gaps behind the stucco and inside the house were giving pests easy access. They also gave me great advice on what to consider for our upcoming home renovations. They even took extra care to treat a few specific concern areas inside to ensure no other bugs would be an issue while we wait for those renovations.

I heard sounds from my attic and I hired Guard More to inspect. They found a family of raccoons in the attic and the technicians went in to remove them. They came out with 4 raccoons, now I know why the sound was so loud at home. The sounds we're getting too much for us, thank you again Guard More for the service.

We had yellow jackets in a hard to access window well. Tried spraying ourselves with wasp spray with no change.
Gary arrived and did a walk around. As we were chatting in the driveway we looked up and low and behold saw a large active wasp nest. How fortunate we happened to see it during his visit.
Gary sprayed and disposed of the wasp nest, sprayed the the yellow jackets.
There is more! I told Gary about seeing a mouse near the same window well with the yellow jackets while I was watering the garden.
We had set traps and caught two ourselves. We decided to have Gary set up a bait station.
A wise choice I feel.
Gary is now our go to for any future pest issues.

I woke up to bites and found bed bugs on my used sofa. A Guard More technician came by and steamed the bed bugs off and he said he applied spray to protect baseboards and furniture bottoms. It was nasty to see the dead bugs but I am so happy they're getting removed. I would recommend them for their quick response to my inquiry. Bed bugs are gross!!

Finding a cockroach in your home is harrowing. We saw a giant one and couldn't sleep. Guard More arrived on time, did a thorough inspection, took the time to answer all of our questions about what to expect, and placed traps and bait to monitor and eliminate them. During the inspection, they identified problem areas, even brought silicone to seal troublesome cracks and entry points, and gave us practical advice we could start using right away.

Gary has become part of the family. We had a very challenging raccoon problem in our attic, with the entry point located in a tight space between our home and the neighbouring house. Three other companies refused the job, but Gary was up for the challenge.
