Very disappointing experience. We ordered veg momos but were served chicken momos instead. This is not a small mistake, especially for vegetarians who trust restaurants to handle their orders carefully.

When we called the restaurant, they apologized but said that mistakes happen because the restaurant is very busy. Being busy is not an acceptable excuse for serving the wrong food. What made the situation even more frustrating was that when we asked for the owner's name and contact information to raise our concern, the staff refused to provide it. They told us that the owner never comes to the restaurant and that everything is handled by the employees.

The mistake itself was serious, but the lack of accountability and transparency in handling the complaint made the experience even worse. Very disappointed with both the service and the response to the issue

We ordered mutton chowmein it was great 10/10. The chicken momo was like soya chunk and jhol momo aachar looks good but doesnt feel and taste like aachar :4/10.

The wrost part is mutton thali ,it looked liked mashed up indian and nepali food and wasnt worth.They might be addressing for both community, but if anyone wants authentic nepali food, this momo house is not right place.

I live in an inner city neighborhood in Calgary but found myself running a couple errands in the far NE. After finishing everything I googled best food in the NE and Momo House was in the top of the selections. Seeing it was Nepalese, and it being some time since I had it, that’s where we chose to have lunch.

This sweet little place is casual, just grab a table, and the staff was lovely. Very kind and suggested their favourites and which we decided to try. The shrimp chowmein and mutton johl momo were absolutely incredible. The flavors made this an easy meal to enjoy. I would absolutely make the drive just for this food.

If you are craving real Indo-Chinese street food Calgary Momos House absolutely delivers. Hakka noodles had that perfect smoky “thela-style” flavor honestly felt like something straight off a street cart back home. Steamed chicken momos were super juicy and fresh, and the spicy sauces gave them a nice kick without overpowering the taste. Great portions, authentic flavors, and easy on the pocket too. Definitely a spot I would come back to and recommend if you are missing proper street-style food.

Tried Calgary Momo House and absolutely loved the experience. Had the vegetable noodles, chilli momo, and the vegetarian thali, everything was fresh, flavorful, and really well made. Comfort food done right. Definitely coming back again!

We had a family lunch there this week and it was fantastic. There was 5 of us for lunch and we all ordered different momo's so we could try a variety. We tried the steamed chicken (Jhole), chicken chili momo, fried mono, timur momo and tandoori momo. The tandoori was super spicy, but delish! All were excellent. Would definitely recommend. It was a Wednesday and very quiet. I hope more people discover this hidden gem!

Wonderful momo's! The taste and spices were incredible. The tandoori momo's came out hot and delicious. The jhol momo's were fabulous as well. I wish I lived here but was only visiting. So many wonderful things on the menu and when I visit again I will definitely be going!

This licensed restaurant is cozy and tucked in the same place as many other restaurants. I would recommend this woman-led business one thousand times over. Who could resist a delicious, perfectly steamed momo?! Quality takes time and it is worth the wait. The only thing I would say to improve is when you order takeout, nothing is labeled, so you can't know what the sauces are, or even what type of momo it is until you taste it. It will taste absolutely delightful, but it would be better if I knew exactly which ones to order again the next time. The price is more than fair for the portion size and you have lots to choose from. If you are craving Nepalese cuisine, Calgary Momo House will hit the spot again and again.
