I went to Taylor Brothers to order supplies needed for replacing stairs to a 36 year old deck. Due to the diligence and patience of 2 wonderful employees, Christopher Callands and Jonathan Ooten, they were able to find the exact stair parts that matched the deck perfectly! When Christopher ordered the parts and was told it would be 4 to 5 weeks, he was able to find an employee from where he was ordering the parts that was able to deliver everything within the week.

I greatly appreciated their guidance in helping me get the correct parts and going the extra mile to get them quickly. Thank you Christopher and Jonanthan.

The experience we have enjoyed with Taylor Brothers, goes all the way back to 2004, and in every situation, whether sales, service, advice and especially their design department headed up by Karen Bowman, has always exceeded expectations!

She has been a valuable resource, especially during our 14 years of providing custom built log homes to our customers in Central VA and North Carolina.

We always recommended Karen to our customers and with her education in design, and just plain great common sence, we knew that once she was involved in the process, it would also be a good reflection on us as well!

We recently did a complete finish of our personal log home basement and Karen was involved from start to finish, with the results being just FANTASTIC! Our general contractor was also very impressed.

Anyone wanting quality results with their project would be wise to include Karen and Taylor Brothers in the mix.

My experience with the culture of this place is that a majority of the employees here carry an unwelcoming mindset with an "I don't care" attitude toward customers. Ordering anything is a laborious process with a complacent approach from sales. Trying to reach anyone on the phone is consistently very difficult and non of my calls are returned after I leave messages. No matter who I walk by in the hallway or no matter what office I encounter I am never greeted and always feel like I am being a burden. This place could be so much better if it had a customer friendly mindset.

I purchased some 2x12x20 number 1 yellow pine yesterday and took them home. I got home to find out one of the boards had a split going down the last 3 feet of the board. I figured out how to make it work because I didn't want to make the long drive to replace one board. I called them today and they were nice enough to give me a full refund for the board, no argument. That was very nice of them and unexpected. Good luck getting customer service like that at Lowe's or home Depot.

Karen Bowman handles all our cabinetry design and provides the best price and the quality always matches. They provide a turnkey installation service for many scopes that we have them provide for us. Framing, drywall, trim and much more. They are highly recommended by everyone on our team.
